Viva! Viva! Pit Senyor!!!
Happy fiesta to all the places who celebrated the feast of Sto.Niño ,the holy child.
Today ,we celebrated the feast of Sto.Niño the holy child.
Our way of celebrating the Feast is to attend a holy mass.
A lot of events the town have for their feast but we are not able to witness as I am trying to avoid my kids on crowd.
So our way of celebrating the Feast is to celebrate it by attending the holy mass.
I learned that the mass will be start at 10 in the morning ,so around 9:45 am ,we went to the town.We travel for almost 20 minutes because of too crowd.
During a normal day ,we can take 5-10 minutes of travel from our home to the town but since it's feast ,a lot of people was there so we take more than 29 minutes.
When we arrived ,the mass was already started .
Because of too many people there's no vacant chair inside so we are standing outside ,beside the church.
A few minutes ,that area was full of people attending the mass.
The mass was done around 11:30 in the morning ,so after the mass we went to other side of the church to lighted a candle.
Good thing that it didn't rain today ,we are feel blessed by the holy child that it didn't rain on the feast day.
That people on the queue was waiting for the packlunch given by the church.
When some people are leaving the church ,we got a chance to get inside.
We saw a dance performance by the elementary kids.
While waiting the dance presentation to finish ,we took a picture.
After the dance presentation ,it's about time to dance the sinulog dance music.Through the dance ,we can ask our prayer to our lord.
After a few minutes of dancing ,we are about to leave the church .We planned to buy a roasted chicken for our lunch but then my sister in-law ,chatted me inviting us on her husband's house for a lunch.
And then I saw a the display of patron in every Barangay .
So we headed going to my brother in-law's house for lunch.
But because of traffic ,we came there almost 1 in the afternoon and my kids already complaining that they are so hungry hihi.
I thought they have some visitors but we only their visitors ,they didn't invited some of their relatives and friends coz they only prepare a few menu.
After having our lunch ,we headed home.
We didn't watch and witness the street dancing and sinulog dance competition as a lot of people was there.
I am trying to keep my kids from the crowd.
I remember the incident happpend in the next town during their first a few years ,there's an explosion of bomb during their fiesta event.Thats why ,as much as possible I keep my kids away from the crowd.
Celebrating the fiesta oby attending the mass is what we usually did ,as it's more important that any event on that celebration.
Anyway,I apologize of not having a good quality photos as I keep my hands on holding my son coz a lot of people was there.
And that's it for today ,thank you for your time!
Have a great day and Viva! Pit Senyor!🙏❤️
May the Lord God always blessed and protect us🙏
