Every day, we rise from our beds, get ourselves dressed, and hit the road to pursue our daily and life goals—the ambitions that drive us toward living out our dreams. There is nothing like living out our dreams.
I’ve been to many places and have come across different people from diverse walks of life—both high and low; rich and poor; educated and uneducated… name them.
But each time I sit back to observe the whole scenario—every conversation, every encounter, and every approach—I find one phrase constantly popping up in my mind: “Attitude is everything.”
While I don’t want to sound spiritual or mystical, it suffices to say that life has a way of responding differently to different kinds of attitudes.

When you see a man failing or succeeding, amidst other factors, attitude is one of the reasons—if not the chief—that makes the difference.
Many people downplay the power of attitude. What they fail to understand is that life is not only physical; it is also spiritual. And when I speak of the spiritual, I mean the unseen forces at play in a person’s life. If they could go back and do an in-depth study of life, they would discover that life is far more spiritual and mysterious than they ever thought or imagined.
I’ve read many books on success, from psychological to spiritual standpoints. What keeps resonating with me is the fact that each author keeps saying the same thing—whether they realize it or not. And what is it?
That life, in itself, has a spiritual (unseen) nature that constantly attracts or repels. In other words, life has an invisible magnetic force that draws certain things toward us while pushing others away.
It’s no new thing that the attitude we adopt daily will always either attract or repel one thing or another. Attitude is everything.
How life works for us depends largely on how well we gain mastery over this one thing called attitude.
Do a little research into why people succeed or fail, and you’ll see that attitude was behind it all—not background or circumstances. For the most part, attitude engineered their successes or failures.
Attitude has destroyed many, and attitude has built many. Attitude has opened doors of opportunity for some and shut them against others. Attitude has helped many cross the finish line and, in the same vein, caused many to fall by the wayside.

When I read about the rise of great heroes, all I see is attitude. When I read about the downfall of great heroes, I still see attitude.
If we can engineer our attitude, then we can control our lives and destiny—because attitude is everything.
