Today was a day of commitments acquired in my workplace; since a health day was held today for teachers, retired personnel and even children. It was planned to receive 17 medical specialties that would support the teachers.
Hoy un día de compromisos adquiridos en mi lugar de trabajo; ya que se hoy se realizó una jornada de salud, tanto para docentes como personal jubilado y hasta niños. Se tenía previsto recibir 17 especialidades médicas que apoyarían a los maestros.
It all started very early in the morning, in my space I had to be with the dental doctors, the ones I dread the most. The truth is that a whole team was behind this health event so that everything would go as planned.
Todo comenzó desde muy tempranas horas, en mi espacio me tocaba estar con los médicos odontólogos, los que más terror me dan. Lo cierto que todo un equipo estaba detrás de este evento de salud para que todo saliera como se tenía previsto.
The chairs were arriving, where the patients would be treated. For this specialty, only extractions, cleaning and repairs would be performed. Many took advantage of the service and thus saved some money since dental consultations are quite expensive.
Fueron llegando las sillas, dónde se atenderían los pacientes. Para esta especialidad solo se realizarían extracciones, limpieza y reparación. Muchos aprovecharon utilizar el servicio y así se ahorraron algo de dinero ya que las consultas odontológicas están bastantes costosas.
I was not really able to attend any specialty, because I was back and forth. But I did sign my son up for ophthalmology. I wanted to take advantage of it since he had been telling me for days that he had something in his eye and according to him he was going to go blind. Something dramatic my little boy. The truth is that he had to take his blood pressure and he was super nervous as if he was going to get caught, because he was small they did not want to see him, but then the doctor, listening to what he was saying, decided to check and he only has a little red eye because he was touching it with dirty hands. He was prescribed eye drops and I went to the pharmacy of this health event, since they were going to give away the remedies. In my case my son's drops were not there, but at least I know what I can put in his eye and it took the fear out of his eye.
Yo realmente no pude asistir a ninguna especialidad, por estaba de aquí para allá. Pero si anoté a mi hijo para oftalmología. Quise aprovechar ya que hace días estaba que me decía, que tenía algo en el ojo y según el iba a quedar ciego. Algo dramático mi pequeño. Lo cierto es que tenía que tomarse la tensión y estaba súper nervioso como que si lo iban a pillar.Por estar pequeño no me lo querían atender, pero después el doctor al escuchar lo que el decía, decidió revisar y solo tiene un poco enrojecido el ojo por estar tocando con las manos sucias. Le indicaron gotas oftalmológicas y fui a farmacia de este evento de salud, ya que iban a regalar los remedios. En mi caso las gotas de mi hijo no estaban; pero por lo menos ya se que puedo colocar en su ojo y le quitó la cuestión del miedo de su ojo.
Today was a very tiring day, and I returned home late. I bid you farewell and I will see you next time.
Hoy fue un día bastante cansón,y regrese tarde a mi hogar. Me despido y nos vemos en una próxima oportunidad.
