I'm like you, small things bring on reflections. More so in my senior citizen years than when I was younger. I thought that I and everyone around me had all the time in the world to do whatever we desired. As you age, you realize that your time is limited. You're truly only guaranteed three score and ten. After that, everything in life is a blessing. I love the scripture you include from Ecclesiastes. So true, and now I feel it much so the seasons of my life. They are distinct as night and day. And I've learned to appreciate each one, because I don't know whether I'll see the next.
Thanks for sharing. I see you and your mom spend quality time together no matter the reason. Take care.

Appreciate your kind support of my engagement.
There's all sorts of things we can learn from the Bible and lately, I find myself back to it. I found peacefulness there and even find my way back :) and yeah, though I am still at the age where I shouldn't worry about all that but having to lose multiple people recently, that shifted my perception about all the seniors in my family. Time is indeed nobody can really buy.
