COLLEGE BLOG 101 | "A Day At The University!"

College offers both success & tough-to-toughest challenges. The journey would not automatically begin as we dreamed of stepping up to higher educational level, thus, the journey will officially start as we stepped our feet at the campus as a "college student."

It has been almost 4-years when I began my college journey. In those 3+ years, I had experienced to:

• Smile over small achievements;
• Silently shrieks in satisfaction for accomplishing bigger things;
• Feel sad & experience series of breakdowns due to academic overloads;
• Cry over countless of failures.

However, despite of the struggles and failures, here I am. Continuously fighting to get that ultimate diploma, at all possible means.

For the past 2-years, I had consistently financed my studies through scholarship grants and earnings at blogging. Now, I could say that: "I somehow attained improvements."

" ... Before, I wholly resort to blogging to finance such needs. After multiple attempts to gain additional earnings through establishing a small business, I finally succeed to earn back a decent amount of money!"

Today, we are down to the 60th day of year 2023. Way to go for the greatest progress:

In this blog, join me as I spent the day as a "student & aspiring small business owner!"

For today, I had visited four different sites at our university:

• University Grandstand;
• Diagnostic Laboratory;
• Marketing Center; and
• Food court.

📍 At University Grandstand - 8:00AM to 9:30AM

In our thrift business, we offers both shipping and meet-up/pick-up. Most of our customers are also studying at the same university as to ours. Meet-ups were then scheduled for "Mondays & Wednesdays." Today, I have an scheduled meet-up by 8:00AM to 9:30AM at the University Grandstand:

After less than an hour, all of the buyers had already picked their orders. Their feedbacks are all positive and it made us truly happy & energetic:

" ... Cheers to more sold items & sales to come! Hopefully, our small business will grow more greater. Soonest!" ♡⁠♡

📍 At the University's Diagnostic Laboratory - 10:00AM onwards

After the scheduled meet-up this morning, I then starts to walk to the laboratory. Today, we are tasked to run diagnosis tests to determine what pathogens causes a disease to the newly developed rice Varieties of our university:

We must accomplish it all to prevent possible contamination if the storage was prolonged. And, finally! We did it. Gearing up for new sets of isolates to be delivered.

Afterwards, we then cleaned and sanitized the premises at the Preparation Room to prepare for the scheduled thesis consultation:

Apparently, our advisers was too busy to accommodate us and to check our individual studies. At the end, we opted to leave the laboratory around 3:40PM.

📍 At Marketing Center - 4:10PM to 4:33PM!

To comply for our laboratory needs, we proceeded to do a canvassing of such laboratory stuffs. Glad that the store offers budget-friendly stuffs, so we had already ordered what we need including: "disposable petri dishes + alcohol lamp + denatured alcohol + inoculating loop!"

Since we got hungry from the long walk, we've decided to buy a student meal outside the university. Then, we path our ways to our own places:

CLOSING THOUGHTS

College journey may be tough but I and my determination to conquer is more tougher. And, yes! I'm unstoppable. Spending days at the university is part of the process ~ the kind of process that I am so willing to take. 🤎
