𝙻𝙰𝚂𝚃 𝙽𝙸𝙶𝙷𝚃 𝙰𝚃 𝙲𝙰𝙻𝙸 𝚆𝙸𝚃𝙷 𝙵𝚁𝙸𝙴𝙽𝙳𝚂 ✨🤸🏼‍♀️🍡

I was afraid I wouldn't be able to enjoy my rest day because of the weather, but my friend Mhei encouraged me to go anyhow. We intended to head out around 5 p.m. We drove down to her parents' house to drop her son off. We take a little break after dropping him off and I manage to put some powder on because I actually woke up when she picked me up. We started at the cemetery, then stopped by the church to light a candle before continuing on our journey to one of the most famous churches in our area. She takes her time driving because it is becoming dark and there are some vehicles approaching at the same route.

When we arrived at the church, we rested for a few moments to rest before purchasing some candles and going to the side of the chapel where we could light them. We had to stay for a few minutes before leaving, and obviously my eyes are quite clear that I just woke up. We immediately hit the road and stopped at Calicoan, a well-known surfing camp near us. They just finished a surfing tournament that is still going on. This tournament draws both local and international surfers. This is a means to increase tourism in our area; we felt that the beauty of our area would be wasted if it was not put to good use. The event is most likely to take place in the morning, which I will be unable to see, very unfortunate that I don't have the photos on the said event.

So when we arrived at the Cali Night Market, which was immediately across the street from the surf camp, we found a spot to park the motorcycle and while we were there, we spotted familiar faces, including my cousin and niece. I was overjoyed to see them because I hadn't seen them since I came a few weeks ago. So we decided to join together and go to one of our friends' stalls. Fortunately, it is only a few minutes' walk from where we park, and I saw two of my batchmates, one of whom happened to be my cousin, she is also working on a BBQ stall. The stall is also a wonderful spot because there is a musician performing nearby, which is ideal.

I miss good and excellent BBQ, and I was really anxious to try it after hearing such positive compliments. We ordered four pork BBQ sticks, four Isaw (Intestine), and two chorizo. I had some water because I'm trying not to drink fizzy beverages. We chose the spicy sauce and it is delicious. We truly like the food and had a great time eating it. I believe we did a good job of trusting feedback and supporting our batchmates' small business. I'm not sure when this event will conclude, but it certainly gave my fellow Guiuananon the opportunity to make money and to be recognized or noticed.
