ONE CHANCE

So it was a day for me today, to fully experience my day with me let me take you back to Sunday...

So on Sunday, during the pastor’s preaching he talked about a terrible incident that happened at my bus stop, he vaguely talked about it and emphasized the need to not step out of the home without prayers.

I was so eager to know what exactly happened that would make the church sigh and give painfully exclamations when it was talked about. After service I approached a lady whose child and mine attend the same school she looked lost too and was going to ask me but I was as clueless as she was.

Until a random lady walked up to tell us about her business, and she explained how a bus lost its break and clear off over 8 people who were standing waiting for a bus. Few were injured and others died instantly.

I was in shock...🥺🥺🥺

I went home to relax my mind from such tragedy by watching the movie
“THE GHOST AND THE TOUT TOO”.
It’s a Nollywood movie about a tout who sees a ghost.

In one of the scenes, she saw some ghost standing amongst strangers at a bus station waiting for a bus trying to get them killed by making a trailer hit them all.

DEJAVU ...ahh it was so coincidental... I was trying to forget what I heard but now I became more conscious.

I missed praying some days before I leave but from that day I promised myself that I would always pray before I leave the house.

So fast-track to Tuesday, which is today

I had an interview with a company my family arranged for me, they are still on the verge of getting me a 9-5, even when I simply want to work remotely but as an obedient child, I went there o.

I was reluctant to go cause I had an annoying morning and, I even forgot to pray but during the ride, my driver had some nice gospel song on and he was praying along so I joined silently and prayed too.

After the interview I couldn’t get an uber from the location to my house, I was advised to take a bus or taxi to a point then it would be easy.

That is how I entered ONE CHANCE VEHICLE

One chance is slang used to refer to situations that lead to robbery, kidnapping, and madness even in most cases. Ways people use to get random people for their dirty needs.

The one I was almost a victim of was the popular dollar story, that would lead to hypnosis and then robbery or whatever the case may be.

I was waiting for over 30min and no taxi in sight till I got the one I entered, an elderly man, the sounded innocent, ride was going well till he picked up someone along the way, who decided to stop 3 min into the drive saying he lost his way and when the driver asked him to pay he gave him 200 dollars in cash as payment.

The driver called him back and he entered the car and started a conversation saying he is a foreigner he doesn't understand our currency and that if the money is not enough he has more, he then brought out a bundle...
Mind you this passenger sounds very Nigerian, looks it, and acts it.

Immediately I told the rider I was at my destination even though I was almost in the middle of nowhere. He insisted I waited, that he would drop me off, let us help the man so people will not dupe him.

I told him I wasn’t interested and he should open the door at this point the passenger was already chanting strange words and the driver kept saying “he is speaking french”

French was my Favourite subject in school, I know one when I hear one and it wasn’t french.

I picked up my phone and was talking to the phone like it was my husband that I was close by he should walk down he will see in a white car called the car details and driver description till he opened the door and I walked off.

I was shaking 😓

Like what nonsense...

Called my partner and we prayed together cause I was feeling a really strong headache. then I orders my uber and went home straight.

A little prayer daily goes a long way, safety is a new luxury and only God can truly save
