Today Valeria visited me, a girl who is my neighbor and who, according to some neighbors, seems like my granddaughter. It must be that my desire for my children to have children makes me give that maternal love to this beautiful girl.

Hoy pasé uno de los días más hermosos del año y, contrario a lo que pueda pensarse, no hubo fiestas ni viaje a la playa ni celebración alguna.

Pero, son de esas pequeñas cosas que te llenan el alma y te hacen feliz y la que te hace pensar que la felicidad sí existe.

Muchas personas podrán preguntarse cómo es posible que haya sido tan feliz sin salir de casa, disfrutar de la playa o estar en una fiesta. Ahora les cuento.

Hoy me visitó Valeria, una niña que es vecina mía y que, según algunos vecinos, parece nieta mía. Debe ser que mis deseos de que mis hijos tengan hijos me hacen dar ese amor maternal a esta niña tan hermosa.

Además de lo anterior. La niña me demostró un amor tan grande que me hizo olvidar todos los problemas que me acompañan por estos días.

También, la niña me acompañó, pues, como jubilada, estoy en casa y mi esposo trabaja, por lo que buena parte del día estoy sola en casa.

Otra de las cosas hermosas que hice fue leerle historias de cuentos.
