FOODlog #1297: Bucatini Chili Carbonara

Finished an event last Saturday where we hosted a few guests ftom Italy. Always look forward to these guests shifts reka.bar as I get to make dishes inspired by where the guests come from.

This round I made Italian inspired dishes, a cuisine that I really enjoy cooking and eating.

My fave for the night was the pizza. Really enjoyed the pizza tossing and oven roasting it 🍕🧀

Here's what I made for the night:

🇮🇹 Truffle-infused Arancini on a bed of Pomodoro sauce, topped with Parmigiano, fresh parsley and basil
🇮🇹🇺🇸 Truffle & Parmesan Curly Fries with Roasted Garlic Aioli
🇮🇹🇲🇾 Bucatini Carbonara x Chili Pan Mee
🍕🧀 Quattro Formaggi Sourdough Pizza
4-types of cheeses, Gorgonzola, Fior Di Latte, Parmigiano, White Sauce, Buffalo Ricotta, Fermented Thyme Honey, Flaky Sea Salt, Chili Flakes
🍰 Tea-ramisu (Cham Tiramisu)
Coffee and Black Tea-infused Tiramisu

The only dish that I think I could improve on is the Tiramisu. The ratio of the layering could've been better but I was glad everything else turned out really good.
