Hello everyone! How are you? Today I want to share with you some of my purchases from Epa. For those who don't know or aren't from Venezuela, Epa is a huge chain of stores that sells everything, from household and construction supplies to pet supplies and even plants (my favorite section 😍). That's exactly what I went there for: to buy plants to brighten up my house, especially my bedroom. I'm planning to gradually decorate it to create a fresher and more pleasant environment when I'm filming videos for my YouTube channel. I usually make gaming content, so I spend a lot of time sitting in front of the computer, and I'd like to be in a more comfortable and pleasant space.
¡Hola Hola, gente de internet! ¿Cómo están? Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes lo que fue parte de mis compras en Epa, para los que no sepan o no sean de Venezuela, Epa es una cadena de tiendas enorme en la que venden de todo, tanto artículos para el hogar y para la construcción, como artículos para mascotas y hasta plantas (mi sección favorita 😍) y precisamente a eso es a lo que fui, a comprar plantas para ambientar la casa y en especial mi habitación, ya que estoy planeando ir acondicionándola de a poco para crear un ambiente más fresco y agradable cuando me toca hacer videos para mi canal de youtube, normalmente yo hago contenido gamer, así que paso mucho tiempo sentada frente a la computadora, y me gustaría estar en un ambiente más cómodo y agradable.
When you walk into Epa, it's impossible to go straight to what you're looking for because the place is so full of things that your eyes just wander everywhere. In fact, there was a desk that was subtly calling to me 😄 but I can't buy it, not because it's expensive, but because I really don't have the money for it right now. Maybe later, God willing, I'll be able to afford one of those desks. The only downside is that you have to assemble all the furniture at Epa yourself, and that can sometimes be a challenge. I know from experience because a while ago my dad and I had to deal with the cabinet we bought for the bathroom 😄.
Cuando entras a Epa es imposible ir directamente a lo que estás buscando, porque el lugar está tan lleno de cosas que a uno simplemente se le va la mirada para todos lados. De hecho había un escritorio que me estaba llamando sutilmente 😄 pero no puedo comprarlo, no porque sea costoso, sino porque realmente en este momento no tengo dinero para esa compra, quizá más adelante, Dios mediante pueda permitirme comprar un escritorio de esos. Lo único malo es que todos los muebles de Epa tienes que armarlos tú mismo, y eso a veces es un reto, se los digo por experiencia propia porque hace un tiempo mi papá y yo tuvimos que lidiar con el mueble que compramos para el baño 😄.
Ahhh there are more beautiful things, I loved those bathroom cabinets, especially the ones that come with the sink, but I think they are very expensive, they cost almost 400 dollars.
Ahhh allí están más cosas bellas, amé esos gabinetes para baños, especialmente los que ya vienen con el lavamanos, pero creo que son muy caros, cuestan casi 400 dólares.
But I took the opportunity to buy something in the pet section that I loved—a special chemical solution for combating fleas and ticks. I bought it for my dog once and found it very effective, so I didn't hesitate and bought it again. In fact, since I first applied it, he hasn't had any ticks again, although I do occasionally find one or two.
Pero aproveché de comprar algo en la sección de mascotas que me encantó, me refiero a una solución química especial para combatir pulgas y garrapatas, yo se la compré a mi perro en una ocasión y pude comprobar que es muy efectiva, así que no lo pensé dos veces y la compré. De hecho, desde que se la apliqué la primera vez no han vuelto a invadirlo las garrapatas, sino que de vez en cuando le consigo alguna que otra.
And finally, I arrived at the nursery where I found what I came looking for. Ahhh! I love plants, and they take such good care of them here, that's why they're always so beautiful; the leaves look so green and shiny.
Y finalmente llegué al vivero donde está lo que vine a buscar. ¡Ahhhh! Me encantan las plantas y aquí las cuidan muy bien, por eso siempre están tan hermosas, las hojas se ven muy verdes y brillantes.
There are all kinds of plants, but I was looking for some small ones, so I was very happy to see there were many of these to choose from. But wow! What a pleasant surprise I got when I saw one of my favorite plants, bamboo! So obviously that was my first choice. I also like the glass container it's in; it looks even more decorative with those pebbles. The seller told me it needs bright, indirect light and plenty of water. He also said I could transplant it into soil, but for now I like it just as it is. What do you think?
Hay plantas de todo tipo pero las que yo estaba buscando eran algunas que fuesen pequeñas, así que me alegró mucho ver que había muchas de este tipo para elegir, pero ¡Wow! Vaya grata sorpresa la que me llevé cuando vi exactamente una de mis plantas preferidas, el bambú, así que obviamente esa fue mi primera elección, además me gusta el envase de vidrio en el que la pusieron, se ve aún más decorativo con esas piedritas. El vendedor me dijo que necesitaba luz indirecta brillante y abundante agua, también me dijo que podía trasplantarla a tierra pero por ahora me gusta así tal cuál como está ¿ustedes qué opinan?
There were so many to choose from, so at times I was undecided, also because I had to stick to the budget and obviously I couldn't take them all or just any of them, but if I could I think I would have taken all of them that were there, some for myself and others to give as gifts.
Había muchas para elegir, así que en algunos momentos yo estaba indecisa, también porque tenía que ajustarme al presupuesto y obviamente no podía llevármelas todas y tampoco cualquiera, pero si pudiera creo que hubiese llevado todas las que estaban allí, algunas para mi y otras para regalar.
But one of the ones I chose, and which became my favorite of all, is this one that looks like a little tree; it's a kind of bonsai! Ahhhhh! I really loved it 😍
Pero una de las que elegí y que se convirtió en mi preferida de todas es esta que parece un arbolito, es una especie de Bonsai ¡Ahhhhh! de verdad lo amé 😍
And finally, with what was left in my budget, I decided to buy this adorable Kawaii cutie 😊 Tell me if you don't think it's cute, it reminds me of one of those plants from the Plants vs. Zombies video game 😄
Y por último, ya con lo que me quedaba en el presupuesto decidí comprar esta hermosura Kawaii 😊 Díganme si no les parece tierna, me recuerda a una de esas plantas del videojuego Zombies Vrs Plantas 😄
