Nuevo Centro Comercial y una Travesía para Comprar unos Zapatos 🛍🥴 [ESP-ENG]

Desde hace varias semanas tengo la intención de comprarme unos zapatos, porque la verdad es algo que merecía y necesitaba, así que en estas fechas es común ver tiendas con diferentes descuentos, y pues justo una marca venezolana llamada Radical sacó unas ofertas de 50% en mercancía seleccionada y un 20% de descuento en toda una tienda que inauguraron el pasado sábado en el C.C. Sambil de La Candelaria (que justo también abrieron hace poco jaja). Así que mis planes eran ir a dicha tienda, conocer el Centro Comercial y comprar un modelo en particular que me había gustado de una publicación que realizaron en Instagram. Pero todo se dio de una forma totalmente diferente a lo esperado, y por eso el motivo y título de este post.

For several weeks I have the intention to buy some shoes, because the truth is something I deserved and needed, so at this time it is common to see stores with different discounts, and just a Venezuelan brand called Radical took some offers of 50% on selected merchandise and a 20% discount on an entire store that opened last Saturday in the Sambil de La Candelaria Mall (which also opened just recently haha). So my plans were to go to that store, visit the mall and buy a particular model that I had liked from a post they made on Instagram. But everything happened in a totally different way than expected, and that's the reason and title of this post.

Aunque si bien necesito zapatos nuevos, mi presupuesto en estos momentos no es tan grande para darme muchos lujos en este aspecto, y más porque este mes es el mes donde más dinero se gasta por todo lo que implica, así que específicamente no quería gastar más de 15$ para éstos zapatos, porque necesito cubrir otros gastos esta semana... así que teniendo esto en cuenta, el día sábado me fui temprano antes de dar mis clases de baile, al Sambil de La Candelaria con mucha emoción por comprarme mis zapaticos jajaj.

Referente al Centro Comercial, no les compartiré mucho, porque a pesar de que ya está abierto, tras meses en remodelación, lo van a terminar de reinaugurar con todas las tiendas en Mayo del 2023, así que por supuesto para ese momento si habrá un Vlog al respecto. Mientras lo importante era la apertura de la nueva tienda de Radical, que al momento de llegar (10:30am) ya habían abierto y se encontraban unas pocas personas comprando. Pero, para mi sorpresa, en tal tienda no estaban disponibles muchos modelos del 50% y, aunque por suuesto tenían mercancía muy bonita porque la marca cuenta con modelos hermosos y de calidad, como mencioné en un principio, no quería gastar más de 15$, y créanme que me tuve que contener mucho jajaj, pero si me mantuve firme con esa idea para hacer una compra inteligente.

Salí de una vez un poquito decepcionada, pero igual con esperanzas, caminé un poquito más el mismo pasillo en donde se encuentra la tienda, y vi otra tienda de otra marca muy buena venezolana que se llama Apolo. Entré como por no dejar, y también tienen descuentos en estos momentos del 40% en mercancía seleccionada y me engancharon algunos de esos modelos disponibles. Sin embargo, yo por alguna razón seguía con el tema de que quería los zapatos de Radical y me fui a un Centro Comercial más pequeño que queda practicamente en frente del Sambil en donde hay otra tienda de ellos que suele estar muy surtida siempre.

Although I need new shoes, my budget right now is not so big to give me many luxuries in this aspect, and more because this month is the month where more money is spent for everything involved, so I specifically did not want to spend more than $ 15 for these shoes, because I need to cover other expenses this week ... so taking this into account, on Saturday I went early before my dance classes, to the Sambil de La Candelaria with much excitement to buy my shoes hahahah.

Regarding the Mall, I will not share much, because although it is already open, after months of remodeling, they will finish the reopening with all the stores in May 2023, so of course by that time there will be a Vlog about it. Meanwhile the important thing was the opening of the new Radical store, which by the time I arrived (10:30am) had already opened and there were a few people shopping. But, to my surprise, in such store were not available many models of 50% and, although of course they had very nice merchandise because the brand has beautiful and quality models, as I mentioned in the beginning, I did not want to spend more than 15$, and believe me I had to restrain myself a lot hahah, but if I held firm with that idea to make a smart purchase.

I left a little disappointed, but still hopeful, I walked a little more the same aisle where the store is located, and I saw another store of another very good Venezuelan brand called Apolo. I went in as if not to leave, and they also have discounts at the moment of 40% on selected merchandise and I was hooked on some of those models available. However, for some reason I still wanted the Radical shoes and I went to a smaller mall that is practically in front of the Sambil where there is another store of theirs that is always very well stocked.

Allí me enamoré también de otros modelos que no estaban en descuento pero igual tienen un precio muy accesible para lo bonitos y de buena calidad que son, pero UNA VEZ MÁS, me aganté las ganas. Pero a pesar de, me atreví a mostrar la foto del modelo que me gustó que colocaron en su Instagram y pregunté si lo tenían disponible, me dijeron que no, de hecho una chica hizo un comentario que interpreté como que ya le habían llegado preguntando por esos mismos jajaj, y a su vez también me dijeron que no siguiera buscando porque esos modelos que colocan en descuento son de colecciones de las que queda poca mercancía y por eso se agotan rápido... así que ya con eso fue suficiente para rendirme con Radical, pero con mi Plan B bajo la manga de los zapatos que vi en Apolo.

Cabe destacar una vez más que yo los sábados trabajo prácticamente todo el día y ya el tiempo se me estaba haciendo corto para llegar a dar clases, pero con todo y eso, gracias a que cuando a mi se me mete algo en la cabeza es raro que me lo saquen de allí, me devolví al Sambil decidida a comprarme mis zapatos. Llegué derechito a los que me habían gustado, me los medí y me decidí por un modelo un poco diferente a mi estilo acostumbrado pero que se ven muy bonitos puestos, son inclusos más bonitos y elegantes que los que me habían gustado de Radical, así que los pedí en mi talla, hice mi colita para cancelar, pero como si no pudiese ser más atropellada la cuestión, resulta que no tenían para darme vuelto, ya que iba a pagar con un billete de 20$ y los zapatos me habían dicho que quedaban en 12$ con el descuesto... y bueeno, que les digo me tocó respirar bien profundo, vi si podía hacer algo, incluso pregunté a otras personas si iban a cancelar con sencillo, pero nada, además que ya de verdad me tenía que ir, no tuve otra alternativa, así que ese día lastimosamente me fui sin mis zapatos.

A pesar de, estuve pensando la situación y es razonable de que no tenían para darme cambio por la hora en que fui, y que bueno, por algo se dieron las cosas de esa manera... me tranquilicé y pensé en que los compraría al día siguiente y así fue. El domingo, salí nuevamente en busca de mis queridos zapatos, pero, no directamente al Sambil sino a otro Centro Comercial que queda más cerca de mi casa donde hay una tienda de Apolo. Llegué, estuve paseando un rato, no tomé muchas fotos eso si ya que había mucha gente, pero el caso es que me metí en varias tiendas y dejé la de los zapatos para el final, y resulta que allí no tenían el modelo que yo quería, ya se les había agotado, o sea, imagínense jajaj... medio dudosa, me fui al Sambil porque ya de verdad no quería pasar más días por esto de que como hay descuentos y en esta temporada todo se agota más rápido, me fui al Sambil, cruzando los dedos para que hubiese mi talla del modelo que yo quería.

It should be noted once again that on Saturdays I work practically all day and the time was getting short to get to class, but with all that, thanks to the fact that when I get something in my head it is rare that they take it out of there, I went back to the Sambil determined to buy my shoes. I went straight to the ones I liked, I measured them and I decided for a model a little different to my usual style but they look very nice on, they are even more beautiful and elegant than the ones I liked from Radical, so I ordered them in my size, I made my little queue to cancel, but as if it could not be more rushed the matter, it turns out that they had no change, since I was going to pay with a $20 bill and the shoes had told me that they were $12 with the discount. ... and well, I had to take a deep breath, I saw if I could do something, I even asked other people if they were going to cancel with simple, but nothing, besides I really had to go, I had no other alternative, so that day unfortunately I went without my shoes.

In spite of, I was thinking about the situation and it is reasonable that they did not have to give me change because of the time I went, and well, that's why things happened that way... I calmed down and thought that I would buy them the next day and that's how it was. On Sunday, I went out again in search of my beloved shoes, but not directly to the Sambil but to another shopping center that is closer to my house where there is an Apolo store. I arrived, I walked around for a while, I didn't take many pictures because there were a lot of people, but the thing is that I went into several stores and I left the shoes for the end, and it turns out that they didn't have the model I wanted, they were already sold out, so, imagine that, hahahaha. ... half doubtful, I went to the Sambil because I really did not want to spend more days because there are discounts and in this season everything is sold out faster, I went to the Sambil, crossing my fingers that there was my size of the model I wanted.

Llegué una vez más derechito a ver primero si seguían en exhibición,que para mi suerte si estaban, así que los pedí en automático, pero la chica que me atendió en esta oportunidad me dijo que no estaba ese modelo en descuento y yo por dentro "..." igual fue a preguntar y pues si lo estaban, e inlucuso quedaban en menos de lo que me habían dicho la primera vez. Así que la tercera como siempre fue la vencida y terminé pagando 10.80$ por los zapatos. Esta vez si contaban con cambio y créanme que me fui contenta y con alivio de haber conseguido algo bonito, que me dejara satisfecha y lo más importante, con la seguridad de que les daré buen y bastante uso jajaj. De hecho en el 2019 me compré unos zapatos allí en Apolo, los dorados que cargo en la foto y hasta el sol de hoy ahí están, asi que calidad tengo asegurada con estos también, jeje.

Moraleja de todo esto: aunque pueda ser tedioso, siempre es cuestión de tener paciencia y darle la vuelta a las cosas, confiar en la vida al 100%, dejar fluir y abrirse a las posibilidades, porque con esto pude ser consciente de otra forma que las cosas no siempre salen como se espera, lo mejor siempre es lo que pasa, y lo importante es no haberme rendido y entrar en otra tienda, en donde terminé gastando menos de 15$ y en un modelo mucho más lindo que lo que yo esperaba. Así que agradezco y me agradezco por confiar y no perder la fe de conseguir algo bueno, bonito y barato como quería...

In fact in 2019 I bought some shoes there in Apolo, the golden ones that I carry in the photo and to this day there they are, so I have quality assured with these too, hehe.

Moral of all this: although it can be tedious, it is always a matter of having patience and turn things around, trust in life 100%, let it flow and be open to possibilities, because with this I could be aware in another way that things do not always go as expected, the best is always what happens, and the important thing is not to have given up and go into another store, where I ended up spending less than 15$ and in a much nicer model than what I expected. So I thank and thank myself for trusting and not losing faith in getting something good, nice and cheap like I wanted....
