Hi, all my friends in Peakd community Daily blog. Nice to meet you, and let you know my introduction. I am Anargya Andini, 28 years old, and I am an Indonesian who lives in South Tangerang, and I am busy as a busy freelancer SEO writer.

So, this is my first time I was blogging in the Daily blog community. Hopefully, this will be my one home for sharing many stories across my experiences, whether I share about my habits or just a random healing story that's nice to tell all of you.

My first post for Daily blog was my story about healing by doing an afternoon walk inside my housing area and ended with buying a snack in the small convenience store, which is not a minimarket but could be named as a residence-grocery-store. This small convenience store was managed and built up by the resident in my housing area, which sells many kinds of necessary things that our residents urgently need for the short term.

The one unique thing about that small convenience store is the size of the small, which is a one direct shop style where there is one storekeeper who assists you when buying your requirements. At those small conveniences store you can seek the display which is filled with many of general conveniences products likely kitchen requirements, bathing until beauty products, many kind of string-sachet products (liquid detergent, washing dishes liquid soap, and many of powder drink) and also a main necessity like a litre of rice, deep fried oil, many kind flours, or instant noodle. There is also a display, which is the most attractive to many of the housing area visitors, that is a snack display.

As the owner of a small grocery store wants to make a lot of money from their business, they become more serious about how to attract many visitors that might come from the housing resident area itself or may come from other people, like daily contractors the housemaids, babysitters, or many kids which is more often buy a snack there. So, they are creating their store display really interesting way.

The first things that we can see when we notice small grocery stores are the snack display in front of those stores and the small cold drink refrigerator for the beverage displays at the edges. The unique storage made by a local crafter that enough to place all kinds of different snacks, like variants of chips, corn extrudate snacks, until the new inventions of snacks like macaroni chips, cereal puff snacks, making the visitors never bored with buying snacks there.

The prices of the snacks for a little size are also cheap as long as you only meet with those size variants only at the resident grocery store in my housing area. The price for the snack is valid from Rp1500 to Rp12000. So, if you buy some of the bite-sized or small snacks in one purchase might cost about Rp15000 for at least 5-6 snack items.

Besides my housing area resident grocery store provides many kinds of snacks, and they also sell many kinds of housing necessities. My sister and I were like to go there to buy some instant noodles or Indonesian traditional crackers, which are also called "kerupuk kampung" when there is any occasion that my sister does not cook for its day. I also bought a string sachet of softener for the daily home laundry.

From those experiences to go to the resident grocery store, I never believed how satisfied I felt during my mother or my sister asked me to accompany her to buy something there. Because I love to heal with an afternoon walk and breathe the fresh air.

A small convenience store as also called "warung kelontong" in the Indonesian language, somehow made me wonder about how many we provide the first modals to run this kind of business. As I have to know about the modals for opening it store, maybe it could be established by the small housing resident organization and be improved by its organization. Just like a kind of joint venture from small participants. Or it might be that modals come from the governance program that is to be accommodated through the centre of governance funds.

However, I don't really know whether the small convenience store in my housing area has the small business models from the donation by its governance program, or they have overcome the business models themselves. But, when I have to look at how it serves many of the necessary items and how they provide their worth of a small convenience store, I think about how seriously small grocery businesses are being invented and prepare more.

Yet, I also have my applause to the store owner and the keeper. How clever they are to bring an idea about a small convenience store that clicked not just by the benefits for all of my housing area residents, but also their dedication to building and managing such a useful business that comes from a small scale. Hopefully, the small stores could provide their lifetime spending and make the store owner and also the visitor's day bright.
