Inter-Platoon Volleyball Competition: Platoon 1 vs Platoon 7

It was Sunday evening, at exactly 5:30pm when the sports director called on platoon 1 and 8 for volleyball competition.

Earlier before then, each platoon has been undergoing series of training in order to select the best and most skilled team out of the platoon members. This training went on for about 4 days to the best of my knowledge, and there was a low turn up. Volleyball is a game i would love to play, i can master it easily with constant practice but unfortunately it was meant for only girls, yet most girls are saying away from it.

When i learnt that my platoon (platoon 1) will be having volleyball competition with platoon 8, the first question I asked was "are we really ready for this when thime girls are saying away from training"? Well, i shouldn't be the one to bring negative vibes to my platoon so i just wish them luck as they step out for the volleyball game.

The girls were quite looking beautiful as they stepped into the volleyball court and positioned themselves accordingly. I had a little disappointment seeing the height of the girls, for goodness sake they're short for this competition. But anyway since there was no other substitute, i had to believe in them and in what they can do.

I was eager to see my team win the game as the head refresh climbed on his umpire's chair.

5 minutes into the game, my team was already winning, i was happy and bursting for my team hoping that we win the game. Little do i know they the game will turn against my team.

Watching the girls as they play their volleyball was very fun. There weren't so perfect, most times missing opportunities to win and displaying so funny moves. Well, the gane was meant to be fun otherwise they would have allow guys to take part in the volleyball game.

Finally, after all the support given to my team, unfortunately they failed.
So sad!
