Un saludo de Aprecio y el deseo de que el "Nuevo Inicio del Año", mi Dios nos traiga, Bendiciones en salud y metas por lograr, como parte de esta exitosa comunidad Hive, que ha abierto corazones de unión, al Lenguaje Universal, en cada lugar del mundo.

Hoy luego de un breve descanso,
quiero comentarles, un poco de las " Vivencias, Costumbres y Tradiciones Navideñas", disfrutadas en sana paz, con mi familia, amistades y vecinos, de la Urbanización "El Páramo', sitio donde convivo.

Es un sitio de clima de montaña, frío y agradable, pero que al igual, se han mantenido las medidas de "Bioseguridad" y cuidados en salud, por la situación de la Pandemia.

Encerrados algunas veces, sin visitar a ninguno, solo con un saludo, cumpliendo con nuestros deberes y obligaciones de trabajo a distancia.

Lidear con mi carrito, que necesita ciertos ajustes mecánicos, pero con la fe y el optimismo que me caracterizan.

No he bajado la guardia, a mis deberes y compromisos de estudios, en seguir aprendiendo, documentándome y apoyándome en diversos temas de interés social, que me han sevido de estímulo, en mi comunidad, para colaborarles, como el tema que les traigo hoy, de mis Vivencias, Tradiciones y Costumbres en Navidad:

1. Cuidemos La Salud:
   El sitio donde vivo, es frío, por esta época decembrina, se acentúa muchísimo más, arropando día y noches, con una densa neblina, panorama propio al nombre, como se le bautizo a nuestra Urbanizacion, llamándola "El Páramo".

Es por esto, que desde que comenzó la Pandemia, me acostumbré a tener a la mano, una exquisita taza de bebida caliente, sea café, chocolate o te, tenerlo listo en el termo, para brindarles a nuestros visitantes.

Uno de mis te favoritos, es el te de hojas de limonaria, con orégano, naranja, albahaca, toronjil y yerbabuena, todos mezclados en infusión y agregándole una cucharadita de azúcar al gusto y se sirve.

Particularmente a mi, me encanta con azúcar, pero lo recomendable es, tomarlo sin azúcar. También acostumbro a hacer, el té de hojas de guayaba, delicioso, para cuidarnos del "Covid", lo cual, nos ha ayudado enormemente durante este tiempo.

2 . Cumplir Obligaciones y Compromisos Laborales:
A pesar, de no haber dado, mis clases presenciales a mis alumnos, debido a las restricciones del "Covid", mi país Venezuela, tiene un periodo de vacaciones, por la Navidad, a partir del 15 de Diciembre.

Desde el mes de Octubre, hasta el 15 de Diciembre, se atienden clases normales, esto se cumplió, a través de las innovadoras herramientas tecnológicas, creadas por el Sector Educativo.

Es así, como me las ingenie, para estar al día, con los temas planificados, para mis alumnos, en este inicio del "Año Escolar."

3 . Vendimia Pro Fondos, Proyecto Comunitario, en la Urbanización "Páramo".
Quiero comentarles, que a pesar de las medidas de restricción en nuestro país Venezuela, se realizó una Vendimia Pro-fondos para un proyecto comunitario en mi Urbanización, "El Páramo", decisión tomada por la Junta Administradora de la Urbanización.

Incentivando a nuestros emprendedores vecinos y músicos,a participar, con rifas, venta de exquisiteces en dulces, tortas y con un suculento Mondongo, plato tradicional venezolano muy sabroso y por supuesto, con la intervención de los Músicos, que vivimos aqui, aportamos nuestra colaboración musical, tocando y cantando en esta actividad.

Todo lo planificado en la Vendimia, fué un éxito, generando ganancia, para la realización de este proyecto Comunitario.

4 . Preparación de la "Novena Al Niño Jesus":
Esta es una tradición Católica, que comienza con las Misas de Aguinaldo a partir del 16 de Diciembre y se mantiene por tradición, de generación en generación, en nuestro País Venezuela.

Esta tradición, la llevo desde mi infancia y al pie de la letra, claro está, no con las vivencias de otros años, debido a las restrinciones de la 'Pandemia", se han dejado de hacer ciertos "Eventos Navideños" con los niños, jóvenes, adultos, músicos y coristas, evitando las aglomeraciones, como los Conciertos Navideños, las Parrandas Navideñas" y Misas De Aguinaldo.

En años anteriores, estas "Misas De Aguinaldo", conjuntamente con el Párroco encargado de la Iglesia y vecinos de las comunidades, realizaban tremendo "Bonches", como decimos los Venezolanos o Fiesta Navideña, en la cual, abundaba la comida y refrescos.

Estás festividades, desaparecieron, se han moldeado a la realidad, que estamos viviendo, tal vez, evitando inquietantes momentos de desorden y aglomeraciones del público. Pero con todo eso, se realizó la actividad, en la Urbanización, con el apoyo de todos los vecinos, incluyendo a los músicos que aquí residimos.

Se formó, un grupo de "Coro",muy reducido, con niños de la Urbanización "El Páramo", evitando las aglomeraciones, para entonar algunos cantos de villancicos, siempre tomando en cuenta, las restricciones y medidas de Bioseguridad, establecidas para cuidarnos.

Esta tradición de " La Novena del Niño Jesus", se realizan por 9 días, rezando y cantando villancicos, repartiendo a los niños y a los que asistan, galletas, dulces, refrescos, bebidas caliente de te, café o chocolate.

Según la tradición,se dice, que cuando se hacen, traen muchas "Bendiciones" a nuestra gente, en el Nuevo Año.

5 . Regalos del Niño Jesus e Intercambio de Regalos:
Estos son presentes o regalos muy esperados por la familia, amigos o allegados, se realizan con la actividad del "Amigo Secreto", antes de la "Cena Navideña".

El Amigo Secreto, consiste, en dar un detalle de regalo o mangar de dulce,galletas o chocolates, al familiar, al amigo o amiga en secreto, es una forma de retribuir la amistad a alguien.

Aquí, los que intercambian sus regalos, no saben con quién les corresponde, hasta el momento de la entrega. A mi me tocó intercambiar con mi hermano,pero lo vine a saber, al entregar el regalo.

Esto se ha mantenido por años, no solo en el hogar, sino también lo celebran en las Empresas o Instituciones donde trabajamos.

6 . Celebración Del Nacimiento Del Niño Jesus:
Es una Tradición, que se celebra con gran devocion, en muchos hogares Venezolanos y en algunos países del mundo.

La costumbre, es dejar una carta escrita, con los deseos, peticiones y regalos, que se desean se cumplan, en el Nuevo Año.Esta carta se coloca en el "Nacimiento del Niño Jesus" o debajo del "Árbol de Navidad", antes de las 12 de la noche, no falla en cada hogar de
Venezuela.

Tradición está, que se hace de generación en generación,
transmitidas por nuestros antepasados.

7 . Cena Navideña:
Otra de nuestras tradiciones,es nuestro famoso plato de las " Hallacas, en la "Cena Navideña", acompañada de una exquisita ensalada, en la que se mezclan: pollo cocinado hilachado, papas sancochadas picadas, zanahorias picadas, algunos le pican manzanas verdes, sal al gusto, chorrito de aceite y un picadillo de huevo, con ramitas de cilantro picado.

Todo esto, mezclado con mayonesa, al gusto de la persona que lo prepara. Esta ensalada se puede acompañar con un asado negro, que consiste en un tipo de carne, que en mi País Venezuela, se le llama muchacho redondo o cuadrado(es carne de Res), preparado con un guiso bien sazonado y gustoso al paladar.

Otros, lo acompañan con lomo de puerco o pernil, igual le pueden colocar, un enrrollado de jamón, con una longa de queso amarillo o blanco a su gusto, aparte se le sirve, con un exquisito manjar, de dulce de lechoza.

Esta es, nuestra famosa "Cena Navideña", tradición, que no puede faltar en nuestra mesa el día 24 de Diciembre y que se une con gran alegría, esperando las 12 de la noche, con la entrega de los presentes y regalos, que cada uno espera ese día, con gran espectativa.

8 . La celebración del 31 de Diciembre:
Se espera ese día, con gran regocijo, compartiendo en familia y con amistades. Cenamos igual, se acompaña con 12 uvas,las cuales se comen, poco a poco, pidiendo en cada una, un deseo, que quiere alcanzar, en el Nuevo Año.

Esto se hace, antes de las 12 de la noche. Ese mismo día, se quema "El Año Viejo", unos minutos antes, de que finalice las 12 de la noche. Es una tradición, que consiste en fabricar un muñeco, que puede ser de diversos tamaños, colocándole el nombre, de algún personaje o hecho relevante, ocurrido en el año, que está por finalizar.

Les comento que aquí, se fabricó el muñeco "Covid" y ese fue, el que quemaron, en la Urbanización. Con esta quema del muñeco, cerramos el "Año Viejo", dando paso con nuestro fraternal abrazo, de "Bienvenida', a nuestros familiares, amigos y allegados, al "Nuevo Año".

Espero, que les sea de interés, mis "Vivencias en Navidad", son parte de nuestras Costumbres y Tradiciones Venezolanas.

Me despido, con mi acostumbrada Reflexión: "Las vivencias,son episodios, que marcaron acontecimientos históricos, relevantes de lo vivido."

Mi Estima, para toda la Familia Hive, reciban este regalo de Navidad, un Villancico "Mi Burrito Sabanero", entonado por los niños de la Urbanizacion "El Páramo".

A greeting of Appreciation and the wish that the "New Beginning of the Year", my God brings us, Blessings in health and goals to achieve, as part of this successful Hive community, that has opened hearts of union, to the Universal Language, in every place of the world.

Today after a brief rest,
I would like to tell you a little bit about the "Experiences, Customs and Christmas Traditions", enjoyed in healthy peace, with my family, friends and neighbors, of the Urbanization "El Páramo', place where I live.

It is a place with a mountain climate, cold and pleasant, but at the same time, the measures of "Biosecurity" and health care have been maintained, due to the situation of the Pandemic.

Sometimes we are locked up, without visiting anyone, just with a greeting, fulfilling our duties and obligations of distance work.

Dealing with my cart, which needs certain mechanical adjustments, but with the faith and optimism that characterizes me.

I have not lowered my guard, to my duties and commitments of studies, in continuing learning, documenting me and supporting me in diverse topics of social interest, that have served me of stimulus, in my community, to collaborate them, as the topic that I bring you today, of my Experiences, Traditions and Customs in Christmas:

1. Let's take care of our health:
   The place where I live, is cold, for this season, it is accentuated much more, wrapping day and nights, with a dense fog, own panorama to the name, as it was baptized to him to our Urbanization, calling it "The Moor".

This is why, since the beginning of the Pandemic, I got used to having an exquisite cup of hot drink at hand, whether it is coffee, chocolate or tea, ready to offer to our visitors.

One of my favorite teas is the lemongrass leaf tea, with oregano, orange, basil, lemon balm and mint, all mixed in an infusion and adding a teaspoon of sugar to taste and served.

I particularly love it with sugar, but it is advisable to take it without sugar. I also make guava leaf tea, delicious, to take care of the "Covid", which has helped us enormously during this time.

1. Fulfill Obligations and Labor Commitments:
   In spite of not having given my classes to my students, due to the restrictions of the "Covid", my country Venezuela, has a vacation period, for Christmas, starting December 15.

From the month of October until December 15, normal classes are attended, this was accomplished through the innovative technological tools created by the Educational Sector.

This is how I managed to keep up with the planned topics for my students at the beginning of the "School Year".

3)Pro Fondos Harvest, Community Project, in the "Páramo" Urbanization.
I want to comment, that in spite of the restriction measures in our country Venezuela, a Pro-funds Harvest was carried out for a community project in my Urbanization, "El Páramo", decision taken by the Administrative Board of the Urbanization.

Encouraging our enterprising neighbors and musicians, to participate, with raffles, sale of delicacies in sweets, cakes and with a succulent Mondongo, traditional Venezuelan dish very tasty and of course, with the intervention of the musicians, who live here, we contribute our musical collaboration, playing and singing in this activity.

Everything planned in the Harvest, was a success, generating profit, for the realization of this community project.

1. Preparation of the "Novena to the Child Jesus
   This is a Catholic tradition, which begins with the Masses of Aguinaldo from December 16 and is maintained by tradition, from generation to generation, in our country Venezuela.

This tradition, I take it from my childhood and to the letter, it is clear, not with the experiences of other years, due to the restrictions of the "Pandemic", they have stopped to make certain "Christmas Events" with the children, young people, adults, musicians and choristers, avoiding the agglomerations, like the Christmas Concerts, the Christmas Parrandas" and Masses Of Aguinaldo.

In previous years, these "Christmas Masses", together with the Pastor in charge of the Church and neighbors of the communities, carried out tremendous "Bonches", as we say the Venezuelans or Christmas Party, in which, food and refreshments abounded.

These festivities have disappeared and have been molded to the reality that we are living, perhaps, avoiding disturbing moments of disorder and crowding of the public. But with all that, the activity was carried out, in the Urbanization, with the support of all the neighbors, including the musicians who reside here.

It was formed, a group of "Choir", very reduced, with children of the Urbanization "The Moor", avoiding the agglomerations, to intone some songs of carols, always taking into account, the restrictions and measures of Biosecurity, established to take care of us.

This tradition of "The Novena of the Child Jesus", is carried out for 9 days, praying and singing carols, distributing to the children and to those who attend, cookies, candies, refreshments, hot drinks of tea, coffee or chocolate.

According to tradition, it is said that when they are done, they bring many "blessings" to our people in the New Year.

1. Gifts of the Child Jesus and Gift Exchange
   These are presents or gifts long awaited by family, friends or acquaintances, are made with the "Secret Friend" activity, before the "Christmas Dinner".

The Secret Friend, consists of giving a gift or candy bag, cookies or chocolates, to the family, friend or acquaintance in secret, is a way to give back to someone's friendship.

Here, those who exchange their gifts do not know with whom they are due, until the moment of delivery. I had to exchange with my brother, but I came to know, when I delivered the gift.

This has been going on for years, not only at home, but also in the companies or institutions where we work.

1. Celebration of the Birth of the Child Jesus
   It is a tradition, which is celebrated with great devotion, in many Venezuelan homes and in some countries of the world.

The custom is to leave a written letter with the wishes, petitions and gifts that you wish to be fulfilled in the New Year.

Tradition is, that is made from generation to generation,
transmitted by our ancestors.

1. Christmas dinner:
   Another one of our traditions, is our famous plate of the "Hallacas, in the "Christmas Supper", accompanied by an exquisite salad, in which they are mixed: cooked chicken threaded, boiled potatoes chopped, chopped carrots, some chop green apples, salt to the taste, oil spurt and a minced egg, with branches of chopped coriander.

All this, mixed with mayonnaise, to the taste of the person who prepares it. This salad can be accompanied with a black roast, that consists of a type of meat, that in my Country Venezuela, is called round or square boy (it is meat of Beef), prepared with a stew well seasoned and tasty to the palate.

Others, accompany it with pork loin or leg, likewise they can place him, a rolled up of ham, with a yellow or white cheese slice to its taste, aside is served to him, with an exquisite delicacy, of sweet of bed.

This is our famous "Christmas Dinner", tradition that cannot be absent in our table the day 24 of December and that is united with great joy, hoping the 12 of the night, with the delivery of the presents and gifts, that each one waits for that day, with great spectacle.

1. The celebration of December 31st:
   We look forward to that day, with great joy, sharing with family and friends. We have dinner the same way, accompanied by 12 grapes, which are eaten, little by little, asking for a wish in each one, that we want to reach in the New Year.

This is done before midnight. On the same day, "The Old Year" is burned a few minutes before 12 o'clock at night. It is a tradition that consists of making a doll, which can be of different sizes, putting the name of some character or relevant event that happened in the year, which is about to end.

I tell you that here, the doll "Covid" was made and that was the one that was burned in the Urbanization. With this burning of the doll, we closed the "Old Year", giving step with our fraternal embrace, of "Welcome', to our relatives, friends and close ones, to the "New Year".
