I am pretty bad at dissembly. It isn't something I can manage, to conceal my despite for the despicable, and this extends to subservience. I just don't do it well or believably, so I don't much try. If it isn't my preference, I don't pretend it is, and if folks try to force me, I naturally push back against that force. It's not even intentional. I just can't help it.

If I don't believe there's good to come of it, I don't do it.
