Cycling In The Early Winter Nature

in Cycling8 days ago

One of my most favorite outdoor activities is cycling, and I love to do it in the area where I am living due to many reasons. I was not so addicted to do it before and my post will show you why I love it here. Also, I have many posts regarding cycling in some breathtaking routes in the Huairou district of the Beijing municipality, where I am living. Especially, the natural beauty of this area is the top notch in overall Beijing so far that I have visited. It also has several point of entry to the Great Wall Of China as it is located in the northern region of the Beijing. So, the mountians range make the whole district into a picturesque one.

The second reason that I want to mention is the safety for the cyclists with a completely separate road that is divided only for the two-wheeled vehicles and low speed vehicles as some electric three wheelers are allowed that has very low speed but the motorbike with heavy speed is banned to ride on this designated route for the saftiness of the cyclists and low sped vehicles. Most of the time people use the electric bike in China for the city life as per my experience but I love the paddling one to do some sort of experience. And I always use bicycle for roaming around the whole district without any issues. I have my personal record of cycling 85+ km in a single day and this spring my target is to cross 100 km milestone. But winter is not a good time for cycling for the freezing cold and heavy clothing and I don’t enjoy it at all with the biting cold for my hands!

This picturesque route is to visit to the western mountains range of the Huairou district and this part is closer to my living area as the northern mountains are far than these mountians. But these mountains region is not so large as if I crossed 20 km, I will find the adjacent district but for the northern region I can move another 100 km north from my living place in the Huairou district as it is the northest district in this part of Beijing. Whatever the size, the beauty is the main attraction to this region as this part is more accessible and tourist visit theis area more frequently due to the close location to the city center and also so many scenic area in this area.

When you come to this area in the early winter, you will definitely love the scenic views in all direction with the colorful leaves and soothing green surrounding. And when I was cycling the weather was top-notch as you feel in my shots with the clarity and the deep blue sky as the background of the nature. Everything was perfect with the bright sun making all the colors more vibrant. The lackings in camera is gone though these are taken by the mobile camera and some of them while riding my bicycle and still these shots are perfect and so beautiful that I am missing that kind of riding experience during the current winter time when I can o for a cycling session.

I hope you like my photos of the beautiful cycling route in the mountains region of the western Huairou district in the early winter with the colorful leaves, with these amazing scenic views of the natural surroundings. It was an amazing experience to do a cycling session during that season with the opportunity to explore such a fantastic natural scenic area like this, with the discovery of natural beauty to enjoy my Beijing life! If you have any queries, let me know in the comments, and I will try my best to answer them according to my knowledge.

Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch up with you at the next one.

Wish you a great day!

All of these photos are my own property and they have been shot by me.

Dear @tanzil2024 !
Hassan!
I'm relieved to know you're riding your bike on a safe bike path!😃

The sky is nice and blue it doesn't look as cold, but when I searched the temperature in Beijing at the moment (around freezing) it's colder than in my country (8 degrees now).
In the winter the air is much more dense so it's harder to push through it, I'm also waiting until the spring to try and do a 100km ride - my current max is 74km.
Good gloves and enough power will keep your hands warm for two hours in the winter, happy pedaling and keep safe!

Yeah, currently it is very cold here in Beijing, so I am eagerly waiting for the spring for some sessions. I am from the tropical country Bangladesh, so cold is so heavy for me, and the thicker gloves are not okay with me at the moment! Thanks for your insights. Have a nice day!

I also love cycling as an activity, especially when the weather is nice.
I wish you success in your student life. I hope you do very well.

Yeah, I also do more often during the springtime when the weather is too comfortable for a whole day of cycling and exploring the nature here. Thanks for your good words. Have a nice day!

We are already looking forward to reading more about your adventures!

I love the views, and it’s a blessing to have such a route designed with cyclists’ safety in mind. I wonder, along that route, do you have a particular spot you prefer for recharging your energy? I hope the sun warms up a little more so you can head out comfortably to enjoy your ride. Best wishes, @tanzil2024. 👋

Yeah, the views are amazing there. I often take rest at many spots and there are many sitting benches and vending machines for drink in this area. Actually this whole region is a tourist zone so, you can enjoy your ride here from all aspects. Thanks for stopping by!
