A UNICYCLE MYSTERY π²

Cycling is indeed a fun activity, knowing how to cycle is of so much fun with additional health and physical benefits attached to it and these gave me the zeal and interest to learn how to ride a bike and cycle the fun away. I can still recall my first experience learning how to ride the two wheel called bicycle but well, i'm yet to learn how to ride an actual motorcycle but that is by the way and isn't the purpose of this article and here i want to share my mystery on the one wheeled cycling.
First, they say that a three wheeled bike or cycle is called a tricycle and two wheels are called bicycles while a one wheel is called a unicycle. now i ask myself who came up with this idea and why don't we have a five wheeled vehicle or six wheels? but well, i'm pretty much okay with all of the dynamic inventions and revolutions of the cycling habits but i sir back to figure out and think about what actually motivated science, engineers and maybe philanthropists to build up this idea of a unicycle because I strongly believe the innovation of unicycle was a human kind act towards improving the human living "but how?" I asked myself.
I dont know how cool it is to those who already could ride a unicycle but my first experience with a unicycle a few days ago was the most awkward experience I ever had but well, like they would say, first day jitters!
But damn, it felt so odd to me even holding a unicycle because my head was totally off the laws and concepts of physics and cycling. I couldn't even figure out a single thing while holding this mysterious cycle. initially i thought it would be an easy ride for me at first because i was already a pro on cycling the bicycle unknown to me that unicycling was of an entire different level of physics.

One wheel, a saddle, no handles, no chains, no way! but i decided to give it a try anyways, my so called coach the one who owns the vehicle was supposed to help me with a beginners guide said i only have to balance my weight on the saddle and try rocking the wheel front and back to keep my balance and I was like, huhh???.
This was even more difficult than riding a simple bicycle honestly, physics was in a whole new dimension for me at this point in time i could barely keep a simple balance of myself on the bike talk more of being able to ride like an actual bike would have. I was left thinking and pondering but still couldn't figure out the simple basics.
Obviously I understand it was my first time but I honestly never expected that amount of work coming in at the first place because "It should have been a climb and ride" just how i figured in my mind.
Me knowing fully well the benefits of cycling a bicycle in sport in terms of improved physical and health conditions, what could be the benefit of a unicycle in this aspect? is it of the same benefits like the bicycle or it has its own unique benefit? do i need to proceed into it knowing how to cycle the one wheel? i feel riding a unicycle could be of so much fun even though I've given it a try and everything looks awkward at the moment but i believe if i could practice more, I'll definitely get my head up and ride em like a pro.
special shout out to those who could cycle the one wheel, how has the experience been for you guys? Cheers π₯

I have never ridden a unicycle. But it does seem rather difficult to ride one.
I think unicycles are more used for circus acts and fun than for real transportation.
I do want to try one sometime.

Hahaha, you're right, it does seem difficult and definitely no one would choose unicycles for transportation I prefer walking instead or crawlingπ .
Much love β€οΈπ
