Description from Strava: Hi bicyclists,
As a cyclist, you'd believe with me that several times, there is a Delima on the road as you transport yourself though a road. The decision you find yourself is as to which part of the road you'd follow, either the speed lane or the service lane.
I do prefer the speed lane most at times but I cycle on the service lane when I have a mechanical. Apart from the fun of riding on two wheels, safety is very important and should, must be considered.
No motorists is perfect and that is why signs and safety wears are very necessary for me as a rider. I was telling my buddy the other day that MTB's where not designed for road, that is they mostly wear faster than Road bikes.
In my country, public transporters care little about bicyclists and this pose a challenge to ever cyclist. Since they use the service lane and you must go one the same road with them, I prefer to use the speed lane and spare myself the trouble
