CYCLING ON A WEEKEND.

in Cycling13 days ago

So Jewel came with @eminentsam48 yesterday after undergoing some maintenance and services. I feel so sad because I get to ride only when Jewel comes around. I am always scared that if I don't constantly cycle I might lose my cycling skills, but then ever since I started cycling, I have learned not to ride as an ordinary cyclist but to use cycling to see the other way of life and learn from it as well.

I'm always the only one riding the bicycle, it made me realize I am alone in my journey to fulfilling purpose. The bicycle is a means through which I can get there faster, but if I allow another person to take over the ride, the person will only be doing so for himself, and I won't reach my destination on time.

I won't also learn by asking someone to ride for me but by actually cycling, so you see that we can only learn how to do something by actually doing that thing.

Also, everyone is on a different level. The speed at which I ride is not the same as yours. It all depends on our destination. Oftentimes, I will ride and see others ride past me. I won't be moved because that's my current pace for now, and also, I choose to pedal, so after all a little progress is better than none at all. Besides, I get to remind myself that their destination is different from mine.

Did I tell you how much I sweat after riding? You will be amazed at how much a human being like me can sweat. I think I love it because it's part of exercise and it's a good work for my body. Although I haven't learned how to ride on the highway with cars and other vehicles, I think that's my current fear now but then, I hope to try whenever I own a bicycle of my own.

What else would you like to add here?
I will be waiting to hearfrom you too on the comment box.

Thank you for reading.

You'll never lose cycling skills once you have learned how howntonride a bicycle.
