I did a two-hour ride, at a calm pace, enjoying the bike and talking with friends... What I was looking for with this training was not to improve my physical condition, the main thing I was looking for was to improve my handling on my bike, I rode on trails very technical with wet roots, wet stones and above all a lot of mud since it had been raining in the early morning, the mud always adds difficulty to the terrain and I really like training like this since I concentrate more and improve my agility

This day was quite an exhausting day, we did a 4-hour tour with a positive elevation gain of +1700 meters above sea level... We took a spectacular route called the Camino a los Espanoles, we left from El Hatillo, crossed all of Caracas and took the old road of La Guaira.
Then we made a 12 kilometer climb on pure dirt with climbs of 20 and 25% positive gradient

Without a doubt, the most gratifying of all was the view that we saw from the top of our national park, El Avila, where we can observe the Guaira from above... Upon arriving at the hatillo, I made a stop again to eat two delicious empanadas in the famous plaza del bundle

I've heard something about that indeed. I'm very curious! And racing at national level is very cool.
That's quite a tough training with those levels of elevation. And four hours long.
I like the shot of you making the jump; very cool!
And what a magnificent views from the top!
