When it comes to starting a new healthy diet plan, most of us rush to be into it from day one. And I'm not excluded from the list. Later, I find myself in the middle ground where I can't leave junk food and adopt healthy food also. I think it happens to most of us. That's why I'm going to give you a better plan which works to adapt a healthy diet in the long term.

You may already guess what I'm going to talk about by seeing my post title. So, here I'm quickly making some points which can help.

  • Adapt slowly. Put a single healthy food in your meal a day. Like an apple in your breakfast.

  • Move slowly. Coffee to green tea sounds hard. But what about reducing the coffee intake first?

  • Keep telling you that you are into it. Order pizza? Make your mind that you will eat something else instead.

  • A healthy diet is part of a healthy lifestyle so focus on that too.

  • Don't take a break or make any cheat day.

  • Don't skip your meal or practice fasting in the early days.

Don't rush to eat everything healthy from day one. You will lose it. Try it gradually and after one month I guess your body and mind will be ready to adapt to the whole healthy meal.

Well, I'm not an expert on dieting or nutritionist. But this is what I have learned and found really helpful over the years. We all know slow but steady wins the race, right. So why not go slow while adapting a new healthy diet?

Try it, you will be the winner also.

I remember my journey to better health started with one simple exclusion: no more soda. I just stopped buying and then eventually kinda stopped liking it. Before that, it was so easy to get an extra 25g of sugar (or more!) into my system because the soda was so easily accessible.

Noticing that I didn't crave or enjoy it any more helped me prove to myself that small changes work. I used this vibe to help get me through adopting more exercise, other healthy choices, etc. I am probably near the best shape of my life right now :)

Wow, this is really a good idea and also bringing this topic my way, because I really love eating junks but with this you have written has given me a great idea on how to switch over properly in eating a health diet which could help me thank God at least I am going to try it out and I believe is going to help me have a good balance though it takes a gradual process as time goes on and I don't discipline myself on doing this I might end falling back to eating what am not suppose to eat at wrong time however allowing it get control over me which could cause a big harm on my system once again @zeesh thank you so much for this information.greetings from @salvictoria22
Take care of yourself and do have a nice day 😍😍😍.

the transition to a healthy diet is for sure a challenge for those who developed a routine, the last barrier is always the mind.

oftenly when i receive patients and we start our Dr. Hacker design for a healthy life they ask me if they could keep some of those old habits and the thing is, are we really taking new decisions to change our present? cheers!
