I'll have to remember this one when the okra starts coming in here! I only just started cooking with it last year, but it has definitely "grown" on me. I think in just a short while I'll see it at every stall at the market. ;)

Okra is generally cheap, although I can't remember it's status in the USA. Once the hipsters discover things, the prices goes through the roof. As a kid, I only thought okra could be deep-fried, as I never saw anyone do anything else with it.
Haha, oh my gosh, too true about the hipsters. It's pretty darn prolific here soon, so I don't think it's too expensive. I'm sure if we wanted to we could try growing it, but it hasn't "grown" on me that much just yet to tempt fate and get a whole heap of it, haha!
