NEOXIAN TALENT HUNT: I’M A MESS COVER

Helloooooo, amazing people. You’re welcome to my music video entry for the Neoxian city talent hunt. It’s been a really long time I last did a music video and of course, trying this out again was really difficult for me but I’m happy I tried.

For my entry, I did a song by Urban Choir which was originally written by Omah Lay titled I’M A MESS. Right now, this is one of my most played songs on my phone. The more I listened to it, the more tempted I was to learn it and make an entry with it and here we are! I tried to sing it all by myself but it would have made even more sense if it was sang by a group. My love for the song couldn’t let me wait, hehe.

This song resonates with me so much in many ways except for the alcohol and Louis Vuitton part, lol. This song talks about how much our emotions play with us, one moment we are happy, the other moment we are sad. Another time we are good and other times we are wild. It’s a song that shows the artist’s vulnerability and I can only imagine what he was really going through at the time he write down these lyrics.

I’m learning not to expect too much from people. I thought I don’t but recently, something happened that made me realize that I have been expecting so much lately but I’m happy I’m back to normal again. The truth is, I actually feel like a mess now but I also feel grateful because I have been able to realized just how messed up I am. It’s time to get the few pieces of me back that’s left and make something beautiful out of it.
