You should be careful, because some beverages can do you more harm than good and reduce the positive effects of training.

Here are some drinks to avoid after a workout:

1. Carbonated drinks

Carbonated beverages contain a large amount of simple sugars that are quickly absorbed by the body. It is a fast source of energy, which will cause its rapid decline and will not offer any nutritional benefit.

In addition, carbonated drinks stimulate the body's dehydration, which is not the happiest solution after training. If you want to drink something with 'bubbles', nutritionists advise mineral carbonated water in which you put some fresh lemon or lime.

2. Alcoholic beverages

Alcohol can be a diuretic, which puts you at greater risk of dehydration, and a lack of fluid can cause an unpleasant hangover.
It is recommended that you drink natural fruit juice instead of alcohol, and if you just want alcohol, a light beer is the best option because it hydrates the body better than other alcoholic beverages.

3. Coffee and caffeinated beverages

Drinks with a strong caffeine base do not hydrate the body, nor do they offer a reliable source of energy. Instead, add some organic cocoa to the smut that will recover you after physical exertion.
