Through the time vortex, he emerged on a new alien world. Huge rings of gas swirled in swirls of color around a binary sun.

However, when he focused his augmented reality viewer, what he saw was not an exotic planet, but the primordial Earth billions of years ago.

The rings were actually clouds of dust and gas that would one day form its home.

“Travel is the travelers,” he murmured, recalling his mentor's words. “What we see is not what we see, but what we are.”

His perception was conditioned by his earthly experiences and biases. In exploring the vast ocean of space-time, he would discover not new worlds, but new perspectives of himself.

Free from the bonds of the present, he was an eternal outsider, destined to rediscover himself through the prism of the infinite cosmos. Each chronological leap opened a new window into his soul.

Matter and energy no longer held any secrets for him. It only remained for him to unveil the greatest mystery of all: his own being, reflected in the eternal dance of the universe.

Adjusting his coordinates, the chrono-explorer plunged into the next vortex, ready to continue deciphering the mysteries of the great cosmic mirror.
