Parallel Universes

The comet lit up the night sky over the small Norwegian town like a bad omen. In its wake, the laws of reality were upended.

That night, Alma awoke with an unknown man beside her. Terrified, she called the police swearing it was not her late husband, but all records confirmed it.

In another corner of town, Lasse walked around disoriented with no memory of who he was or how he had gotten there. As if his life was a book from which the first pages had been torn out.

The phenomenon shook the scientific community. Could this be a glimpse of the parallel universes that quantum theory described? Alternate realities intertwining like shards of the same broken glass?

Decades later, old archives recounted the strange case of a man who swore that his wife, dead for years, had returned. And at the same time, on another plane of existence, a woman vehemently denied knowing this supposed husband.

Two sides of the same coin, two irreconcilable stories. Fragments of divergent realities, filtering into each other, challenging our conception of the universe.
