Relationships in Nigeria are very stressful and tiring, the pool is messed up because we have more gamers than people with good intentions.
Someone gets played and is heartbroken and he/she feels the best way to live is to also break others' hearts, we have so many people in a relationship who have not healed from their last relationship.
My first advice is to not lose yourself trying to fix the heart you did not break If you notice you are with someone who is not invested in the relationship, don't be the only one trying to make things work because, in the end, they will leave you broken too.
You can't fix someone who does not want to be fixed, and the signs are always there, just that most time we tend to ignore them because we want to be the understanding or loving one.
A guy I know broke up with his girlfriend today and the reason is that it was a no-sex relationship, Sex before marriage is not right but that is not common in my country anymore because some girls use this as a way to fool guys, they will have like 5 guys they are dating and lie to some of them that they are still a virgin and do not want sex but they are giving the one they love the sex. Meanwhile, they are collecting money from the other guys they aren't having sex with and the moment guys get to know this, no one wants to be the fool anymore.

I agree with you. I think many of us make useless efforts to fix a broken heart and they forget about their self-respect and do many lame things even if they didn't make any mistake. If there is no approach from the other side it's impossible to fix such a thing. It's better to move on.
