What is good folks welcome back to another episode of me getting absolutely bent over by a shipping company eh honestly I don't know why I even try to do nice things sometimes because the universe just sees me being generous and decides to send in the goon squad
So I am doing this secret santa thing for the silvergoldstacker community and I put together a real nice package for some lucky person out there we are talking a piece with some serious numismatic value plus the way silver has been ripping lately it is basically a brick of pure stress sitting in a warehouse somewhere
I figured I would be a good guy and get it there before Christmas right so I drop 70 CAD on shipping which is basically daylight robbery just to make sure it gets there fast with tracking and I chose FedEx because I thought they were supposed to be the pros
Absolute mistake dawg...
More like Fed-Ex-asperating because this thing has been sitting in limbo forever it cleared customs ages ago but now it is just vibrating in place while some guy in a vest probably uses it as a paperweight and on top of the shipping fee customs wants another 20 bucks just to look at it I guess
I have spent half my life on the phone with them this week just getting the runaround and honestly their name is a lie because they definitely have not Fed-Ex-ecuted the plan at all they just Fed-Ex-torted my wallet and left me hanging
At this point I am worried the recipient is gonna get it by next Christmas if they are lucky it is currently under investigation which is corporate speak for we lost it under a pile of Amazon boxes and we are hoping you forget about it but I ain't forgetting because that silver is worth way more now than when I sent it
The whole thing is just Fed-Ex-hausting man like how do you charge that much for priority service and then just give up halfway through the trip
I am really hoping this package actually arrives soon before I have to go full Fed-Ex-orcist and start banishing people from the industry because this is straight trash
Anyway keep stacking your physical assets and maybe just drive them to the person's house yourself next time because these couriers are straight sleaze balls half the time
Catch ya on the next one folks hope your mail actually moves faster than mine turns out the express in FedEx stands for expressively slow eh

One of my secret Santa packages seems to have been confiscated by US border services. Its all in limbo because the post office didn't tell me I had to pay tariffs on it. I paid tariffs on a recent one sent to Cali, so we'll see if it clears customs.
