Work continues on the revamp of NPCs. Several key elements were completed and tested over the week. All of these revamps are geared towards the next beta release for combat and loot testing. This might occur at the end of the month if things go according to plan.

Dungeons Affected

While all dungeons in the game that have hostile NPCs in them will be getting updated over time. There are a lot of different NPCs that need to be modified.

Miscellaneous Changes

  • Some changes were made to server replication functions

Fixes

  • Some wrong information was corrected on the tooltip for items
  • Missing or incorrect icons in the item database have been updated with the correct icon path
  • A display bug was fixed for resistances (cold, fire, lightning, poison, bleed)
  • Fixed camera collision issues with NPCs

Knew Issue

  • Some NPCs might be just out of range of melee player attacks. Further adjustment and testing will be done as we get to them.

Final Thoughts

This is now the second weekly update being posted from the @NightlyDungeon Hive account. Due to the repetitive and time-consuming nature of many things being worked on a new format is being tested. This will make it easier to convey information to those who have been following along in this journey. The older and more detailed style of posting will still occur infrequently depending on what is being worked on and the time available.
