I realise it's still the holidays and coming up to new years right now, but has anyone had any chance to have a play of my game now the live build is released? I might wait awhile longer but I am eager to get feedback from people. Remember, if there's something you particularly hate, I can always fix it or change it given the nature of this project.

I have seen. But I can't click on the link and start trying because only 1 screenshot is shown. Get me interested as a user! Why should I try your game from the millions of games around? Where is your marketing? :)
I'm just thinking in such a way as to give advice. You wrote that you need more feedback. I suggested you do marketing. Show the game from different angles. Show screenshots, describe interesting mechanics. Not everyone in our time has the opportunity to watch a gameplay movie that is in development!
Do you think then the length is the issue? I had considered maybe I need to put shorter clips in but I didn't think it would affect things that much, looks like it might be needed to get people interested. The big thing for me though is getting people to even download the game.
I think the videos should be shorter and more informative. You can make inscriptions announcing the mechanics that occur on the screen. The same is true for screenshots.
With videos that are posted on decentralized sites, I now see a problem in the download speed ... This is very sad. I would like us to be able to compete with services like YouTube... I really hope that the guys from IPFS are working on this ...
