Hello everyone,
Welcome to my blog.
Lessons learnt from childhood are mostly unforgettable, especially if it leaves a scare on our body as a mark of remembrance. Children are very inquisitive, they intend to know more about everything, even when they are warned by their parents, they wish to experiment with them to see if it's actually true, and they tend to believe it when they have tried it out. That was also my way of life back then, and not only that i was a bit stubborn.
Learning from childhood was a time of wonder, curiosity, and exploration as earlier said, it was a period when I learned and grew at an incredible rate, and those experiences during my childhood have shaped me into a better person I've become, and they have taught me valuable lessons that have carried from them till date, and leaving a scare of remembrance.
During my childhood I was a bit stubborn, but one single experience taught me a lesson, though there were others, but through the discipline i got from my parents as well as my guidance taught me a unique lesson, so whatever I do, i try to be careful in doing them.
When I was a child, there was this funny play i often played, whenever my mum was cooking, I'll get a broom stick, staying close to the fire, lighted it with the fire, and began to play with it, it was always fun not until i burnt myself, and my mother didn't answer me immediately, she exclaimed, it's the repercussion for being stubborn and disobedience, Though she has been warning me but i refused to heed to her instructions, and that left a scare on my leg. So since then, when she says "don't" and looks at it twice and tries not to, rather make more inquiries about it.
And so many other stubborn attitudes I also exhibited, and the result was always painful, though she would flog me to correct me, I recalled the last flogging i received from her, (discipline) and i made up my mind to turn a new live immediately.
That actually helped me and shaped my life to become calm and obedient. Her discipline taught me to be resilient in situations, bounce back from challenges and setbacks as well. My childhood experiences have helped me in developing emotional intelligence, understanding and managing my emotions, it taught me how to solve problems, developed self-awareness and a sense of strengths and interests for whatever I wished to achieve and accomplished, it also taught me the power of creativity, value of perseverance, the importance of being forced to get things done even when they get or seem tough, being patient and persevere will bring an outstanding result, understanding that it's essential for our success and happiness. It also taught me the value of relationships and the importance of building strong connections with others.
Although childhood is a short season, but it's a season that shapes us for the rest of our lives, and its experiences are the foundation upon which we build our adult lives, also having the tendency of shaping us and correcting us the better.
