One of life's greatest blessings is having someone more experienced you can talk to, freely. Be it about business, investments, self development, or life in general. This person could be a friend, not necessarily an "elderly mentor.".Unfortunately, if this person is a friend within one's age bracket, many people tend to take them less seriously. It is even more unfortunate when the person is younger. Age isn't automatically a mark of wisdom. I understand that being older sometimes means the person might have "experienced" certain occurrences that a younger person may not have.

However, "experienced" without an understanding of the cause and effect is a wasteful experience. Do not dismiss the counsel simply because the person is young. Many young people are blessed with the wisdom of the old. They can interpret cause and effect at an unthinkable level.

Do not say, "Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, the carpenter? What could he possibly know?"

Don't say, "Isn't this the boy/girl we went to school with?" Whether younger, young or old, one of your greatest blessings in life is having someone more experienced you can talk to. I strongly believe that the greatest gift humanity possesses is the ABILITY TO LEARN. As I took a look at human history, I noticed that persons that seemed disadvantaged in life, were able to overcome their circumstances and achieved greatness through their willingness to learn and adapt.

Similarly, those whose knowledge had become irrelevant in this modern time or no longer served their goals, had to adapt and relearn what was necessary to stay on track with their goals.

These days, learning has become very easy. Not having money or anyone to teach you, isn't an excuse because we all know how determination works. Trust me we all need someone we can talk to and if you do not have just yet,do not limit yourself. Anyone that has the desire to learn and has access to the internet, can leverage on free videos on YouTube to learn anything.

There's just no excuse anymore. You can change the course of your life by your willingness to learn. Remember it's more than just learning, you should be willing to implement what you have learnt.
