Success is not a guarantee of true happiness.

Does success guarantee happiness ?

Maybe i will call this a misconception , that is people seeing success as happiness. Well, success can be one way to or a means or a factor that leads to happiness but it is not totally happiness and it doesn't guarantee true happiness.

Think about all these wealthy people, who are famous they might appear to be happy but deep inside are they really happy ?

An incident occurred in my country some weeks ago , which I think most of us have heard it. The issue of a very wealthy man who got married to a young promiscuous lady. What inspired this young lady to get married to the man still remains history till date. Although rumour had it that, she was got married to the man because of the man's wealth. Rumor also had it that the father of the lady never supported the marriage, being that the said husband ( the wealthy man ) , seniors the lady's father. So the father was never in support of such marriage but the mum did.

The marriage went on smoothly , not on till few weeks back that they surface the internet again with a case of domestic violence, abuse in all ramifications. Now we assumed the lady was wealthy because she got married to a rich man , but was she really happy in the marriage ? You response is as good as mine. Now this is not just happening in one man's roof, there are a lot of people who are very wealthy out there but are not happy, maybe because the wealth could not solve their problem. Maybe they lost their loved ones and the wealth could not buy life. This is always one problem about success and happiness.

From my own point of view, success does not really guarantee true happiness. I know of a family who are very wealthy, but they have a child that is always sick, so most of their time and money is spent in the hospital. Sometimes when walk pass the man's compound you might see him sitting in his varender and will be so so lost in thoughts. But a lot of people are praying to have such wealth, think that's life is all about the wealth. In as much as the success matters in life, true happiness also plays a vital role, peace of mind is also very necessary. So this is also another proof that being successful does not automatically brings success.

Most of us can always testify of the fact that, there are times you don't even have what to eat, you are not that financially stable, but deep inside you, you are happy and the funny part of it is that, you can't really explain why you are happy but you are just happy.

So success does not really, guarantee happiness.
