Eid Mubarak, Problems Here, Problems There

I’ve never thought that there would be in day in my life when I would just wake up from my sleep,scream and go back to sleep. When they said problem doesn’t finish, I think the electricity company of Ghana took it to a different level all together. The past week has been hell for me and the people living in my vicinity.

It’s been over a week now and we haven’t seen light with our eyes. Honestly, it’s not even the issue of the light that pisses me off, it’s about how incompetent these people are to have not been able to fix the issue up till today. From what I heard, the transformer providing us with electricity had a problem with its wiring. I’m not an electrical engineer , but common sense tells me that this problem could have been fixed in a day. But no!

If you’ve observed, I haven’t been really active on hive this whole week. It’s simply because I have no electricity at my end to even make it online. The only time I have access to electricity is when I’m at work. But guess what? One of the senior lecturers I work has made up his mind to just torment my life. Tell me why someone would just be out to make another human beings life difficult.

People of God, this whole week I haven’t even had a minute of rest because this man dumped about a billion papers in my desk early Monday morning to grade for him. I was happy to do the work until I found out that the papers were actually not for just one class. They were actually 4 different exams papers from four different classes all mixed up together. Work that I could have finished in two days has now extended into the second week since I now have to sort out, group , grade and input. The annoying part is that, he gave me the work on Monday morning and wanted it done by the end of the same day. I just laughed.😂

As if my problems weren’t enough already, I was really looking forward to having a nice and problem free Eid but my seamstress managed to ruin that with a caricature of a dress she claim to have made for me. I literally cried when I saw the dress. It was what I ordered vs what I got.😂😂 I was so frustrated I had to go in search of a dress just the night before Eid, I managed to get something decent but this seamstress has an issue to settle with me. She needs to be arrested.😂

After securing my Eid dress, I thought electricity company of Ghana would at least have the decency of giving us light the morning of prayers but they did their thing again. Eid morning , running late, no light and crumpled clothes. I felt like just dying at that moment because I couldn’t afford to miss the Eid prayers.😂 God made a way and lucky for me, I arrived just in time to pray.

After all the shege I have seen the whole week, it makes send that I slept the whole day today. At least, I’d have nothing to worry about in my sleep. As for my friends @yahuzah , @abu78 , they don’t know me anymore because of small meat they will give me. But we move.😅
