A Day In My Life As A Consistent Hive User

Some days ago, I shared a kinda funny post about what my alarm would say if it could talk and one thing it says mostly was how busy I am on Hive. That is a truth that I can't deny anywhere because I actually love being busy with Hive. I'm not sure how things would change if I should get a job offline and have more things on my hand to do.

But one thing is clear for now, I spend most of my days on Hive so if anyone should ask to know a day in my life, Hive would be the highlight and most part of my day.

A day in my life as a consistent Hive user is a day of very random but fun activities.

I once tried to get a job offline while I await my service time, it didn't work out but somehow I wasn't even bothered that it didn't, instead, I was happy I'll have more time to spend on Hive pending when I'll find another or rather, go for my service.

Since last year's December, my days have been connected to Hive. Waking up to Hive and sleeping after Hiving. You won't blame me, it is what happens when you find a place that resonates very well with you and your dreams.

If there's one person who takes Hive as a fun place rather than a work place, it is I. I can't remember anytime I've complained of too much work to do on Hive except I face writer's block or I'm sick bodily which doesn't happen often. I've always enjoyed writing and helping others in things I can help them with, hive provides that opportunity daily for me.

So a day in my life as a Hive user would be like this...

I found this picture that actually gave off a bit of how my life looks like everyday as a Hiver... Writing, making videos, engaging and eating while at it. 😂

But if I'm to be more detailed about my day, it is more than that and here is how it goes.

Most of the times, I'll wake up very early and I mean, too early to start brainstorming on what to write for the day. Surprisingly, I don't succeed with it by 50% chances as I end up writing hours later but waking up earlier gives me the chance to engage with others especially in the Neoxian City and increase my chances with winning votes for my contents.

As a fast writer, I don't waste too much in writing out my idea when it comes and so, I get done with my first article for the day in the early hours of the day the go about some house chores before I get back online to check for comments and reply back, it's a habit I've grown for a long time. Leaving comments unattended almost never happens except I missed the notification.

My afternoon time, that is before lunch, I use it to learn and sing a cover of the song I have had planned to share on Hive. I'm a fast learner with songs so I tend to not take too much time in learning them except in rare cases of complex songs. Having a variety of contents on my blog is beautiful to me so I do writing and also make videos. I plan to diversify more into the vlogging aspect but not yet.

After making videos, I have my lunch, continue engagements and that includes my duty to communities I moderate in. This aspect is what seem like a job to me but then I enjoy doing what I do with these communities as it makes me feel I'm giving back to community as I gain from it even though it isn't balanced.

My night is mostly spent on threads as I've noticed there are more engagement at that time. I still visit threads during the day but I'm more active at night before bed time. At intervals, I spend time in different discord channels and WhatsApp interacting with my Hive friends and growing my connections.

My day as a Hive user changes, very random but that's typically what I do on most days. I don't know if it came out boring to you but believe me when I say it is so much fun for me. I see movies, chat with family and go on Outings sometimes too but not as often as I should. I plan to create a balance to that soon.
