The highlight of the Hive Conference in KNUST- Ghana

in HiveGhana6 months ago

The Hive Ghana community organized a highly anticipated conference which turned out to be a marvelous event for all attendees. Many participants have already shared their thoughts on how transformative the event was. The conference has sparked conversations and shed light on many great things for the students of KNUST.

Before I proceed any further, I would like to express my appreciation to the sponsors of this program and the team that made this happen through their dedication and hard work. To the leaders of this Hive Ghana community, @mcsamm and @collinz, I applaud you for your marvelous work in the community.

The program was one of the best events I have attended so far because it was enlightening. As part of the team, I had my own objectives for attending this conference, and I think I achieved more than enough. I hoped to connect with big opportunities around technologies, and I must say our speakers for the event were well-versed with it.

The program was attended not only by the students but also by some traditional rulers, headmasters, and pastors. Their presence at the event made it more colorful and purposeful. The cultural group invited entertained the audience with their spectacular performances. @mymynewlife, who came all the way from the UK, enjoyed the cultural display very much.

I enjoyed all the speakers, but I was particularly thrilled when @mcsamm took the stage to give his presentation. His first rhetorical question, "What do you normally do when you wake up early in the morning?" caught a lot of attention and got many answers from the audience. It's now become a common thing to first look for our phones and check messages or social media sites before we even start our day.

The question made the audience listen attentively to whatever he was presenting, and that was revealing Hive to the students. It was a presentation I enjoyed so much because it was precisely how I joined the platform. Even though I had my doubts by then, I wanted to give it a try, and I must say, it has been a transformative journey.

After the presentations, there was a panel discussion that addressed all the questions that came up during the presentations. That part was lovely as the participants had the opportunity to ask any questions related to the presentations. Our colleagues from the Northern part of Ghana also showed up, and we appreciate their support and time. This conference brought many online friends closer to mingle and interact as well.

In a nutshell, it was an event that had a positive impact, and we hope that going forward, this kind of event will be extended to all universities in Ghana. The future of technology lies with the youth, and we must ensure that they hear about this wonderful platform called Hive.
