Everything about blockchain technology will always appear confusing and difficult for beginners. Of course, many people, particularly Africans, are still unfamiliar with this system. I vividly recall sharing the blockchain as an investment opportunity with a friend who, to my surprise, was unaware of the new technology that had been making waves for several years.
For some time now, the narrative is changing in Ghana. Many campaigns are being launched to promote Hive among Ghanaians. The recent Hive Tech conference at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology provided an opportunity for people to learn about hive, and many have begun their blockchain journey on hive.
During and after the event, we assisted those who were having difficulty creating accounts on the Hive platform. This demonstrates how our work as hivers extends beyond the message to assisting new users in thriving on the platform. I will always recommend the leadership of the #hiveghana community for creating a platform to help newbies grow.
As we embark, we are not only building a strong community, but also paving the way for blockchain to thrive, particularly in most African countries.
The future is now and we must ensure others too are part of the future
