Hive Again Visited Bedomase community Second time To Embark on Health Screening Exercise

Hello good evening everyone, I specially welcome you once again to my post. Today has been another historical moment to we the Hive Team members in Ghana.
Just recently, we embarked on Health Outreach exercise where Manso community were screened and diagnosed those with eye difficulties.
The turn out was really massive, but there is a saying that once you’ve been able to do it first time, doing it again normally becomes easier because of the experiences.

Today being 1/05/2023 which of course was a Day set aside to celebrate government workers in Ghana, we had the opportunity to extend our Outreach program to the people of Bedomase.
Bedomase to some of us might not be new to us, because this is a community that have already benefited from Hive borehole and school exercise books distribution.

After commissioning the project, we assured them that we would return whenever necessary to assist them in checking their health. We determined that this village, which naturally lacks a health center, should benefit from our outreach because a shortage of portable water can frequently result in infections and this was the reason why the outreach today was carried out in this town

This day was set aside for this activity after extensive preparation work.
If you recall, during our first outreach, there was only one optometrist who treated all of the patients; however, today, five more optometrists joined us to assist with this activity. We knew the turn out will be great and indeed it was.

We started with the chief and the elders of the town, the assembly member and then to the entire people.

Before then, we decorated the venue with Hive Souvenirs, the pull up banner really made the place to look lovely.
Flyers and stickers were shared among the patients all in the name of projecting Hive to the world.
The educational message that was given during the program made the exercise more interesting.

Hive exercise books and pens were also shared among the people and also to our medical team who joined Hive initiative for the very first time.

I must admit I was much impressed by the work done by this medical team.

We had media team coming on board to take coverage of this event and I believe this coverage will really promote Hive well in Ghana 🇬🇭.

We are so grateful to the Hive community team for making this program a success, the likes of @nattybongo, @kreativita, @zicogh,@jude and myself and to our able managers and supervisors of this whole project @mcsamm, and @collinz for the various forms of support and encouragement.

We hope to say that, this exercise have come to stay and we will always be available to undertaken this task whenever we are called upon to do so.
