RE: I've now been back in the gym consistently for 2 months

I'm glad that u went back to this kind of lifestyle. Training was a huge part in my life. I will never forget those times. Literally best years of my life. I hope I will go back to it too. I miss it.

What is stopping you from starting your training again now?

I was basically training since 17yo till 23yo, then after covid started I panicked, got scared and anxious and started drinking beers. Since then I've been drinking everyday (now im 26yo so thats 3 years of drinking). 2 days ago I decided to stop drinking and go back to healthy lifestyle, but my health is fucked. My liver is destroyed and I have all the side effects of alcohol withdrawal. Probably gonna take a while since I get my health back. Fuck alcohol man. 23 years sober, then suddenly I became alcohol addict, and now I need to fight this. Gonna be a tough road, and even I'm not sure If I can keep up with being sober, but I'm gonna fight for it. If I give up now then I will have no future.

Oh no, beer goes straight to the belly. Congrats on finally deciding to top, that will be a wise decision. You will be feeling strong again soon, just have to right through the various stages of being without alcohol.
I had 18 years of sobriety and then binge dranks from 18-21. I luckily snapped out of it and feel so much better without drinking much ever at all.

Thanks man, I'm gonna try my best to keep up with being sober. Good that u didn't go the bad way. I guess most young man thinks alcohol is fun, but then everyone needs to make the decision.

Society tricks young men into believing they need alcohol, but we do not.
