Hey Hivers!
Officially one week down on my back to the grind weight loss personal challenge. Official stats for the week as follows:
Start: 231.0
Current: 225.4
Goal: 185.0
I hit my macros roughly 4/7 days this week. Celebrated a birthday last weekend and this weekend have friends visiting so just trying to do my best.
So far my favorite meals been Protein Oats for breakfast. I’ve been making overnight Oats packed with protein and it’s been a game changer for me. As someone who loves breakfast and breakfast foods it was nice to get back to having breakfast again.
I think my next goal is to try and meal prep more. It’s been tough trying to calculate things daily without a plan. I prepped a few lunches and forgot how hard it was to hit a protein goal. I’ve also kept up a push up challenge I’ve given myself and am now at 120 push ups daily on top of doing Physical Therapy for a few collapsed discs.
That’s the end of this update so hopefully next week I keep up the downward trend! I know it’s realistically mostly water weight but nothing feels better than seeing some immediate gratification!
