I just finished a 39.345km cycling that lasted about 3hh:9mm:33ss !
The best part of this cycle, is when I start out and I can barely see more than 5 meters beyond my handlebars. This was definitely one of my slowest rides, trying to go faster than 20km/hr means you really needed to concentrate, not on the traffic but the cars parked on the side of the road.
Once clear of the fog after the hill climb, you finally get some comforting warmth from the sun, but we all know the fast downhill return journey is going to be freezing.
Changing out a tyre tube can be godsend. It was good to get off the bike, warm the hands, and get the job done. Admittedly, this has to be the slowest tube change I have ever done, I did not mind it at all
The GPS tracking on this training ride went slightly astray as you can see from the map, there was a 1km difference between Strava App and cycle computer, no biggie.
