Description from Strava:

An easy afternoon run was actually the second longest this year. That shows how short I run. Well, it's fun and it keeps the streak going so ...

The run was part asphalt and part forest with some moderate climbs and many photos taken along.

As usually, let photos tell you the story.

Another one for the reflections contest, a small pond and a reflection of the home fore the elderly citizens by it, on the cover photo.

When I turned off asphalt and on the gravel road into the forest, this beehive greeted me. Lovely.

My intention was to run flat and turn back when the road would start to climb. So I took the left path here and wanted to turn back after a couple of meters.

Yes, the path started to climb, and yes, I pushed on.

Until there was no path any longer.

No problem. I knew where I was, more or less, so I continued to climb and discovered a trove of chestnut trees. I was lucky to find some remnants of last autumn's fruits.

After a bit of climbing I reached the main path again.

And spotted this beautiful tree mushroom.

And then came to the top of the ridge where there are some benches and other assorted oddities. But that's material for another story.

From here on it was mostly downhill. I followed another gravel road which took me to the other side of the hill and then I circled back on asphalt and came home after 13 kilometers of a pleasant running adventure.

Run's info page, you can see it was very leasurely.
