How to hit BIG stretches on guitar

img_0475.png

When you have a big stretch of notes to play, it’s only natural to think that the best way to hit it is by approaching the notes in order. The first note, then the second note, then the third, and so on. But that’s usually not the case.

Most of the time it’s better to start from the middle and work your way out.

Using this approach of starting from the middle and working your pointer and pinky fingers out, even small hands can get a 5-6 fret stretch.

Go ahead and give it a try for yourself. How did it go? Let me know!
