Oh yeah, it’s easy. Practice your rhythms against a metronome/click while feeling triplets behind/under the quarter notes.
Count in time and out loud, “one and a, two and a, three and a, four, and a” until you can bury the metronome or until you can fiddle with the small 10th/sec amount of space before and after that metronome’s click.
The drummer in the video has never done this. It’s not easy at first, but once you get it… “it separates the men from the boys.”
