I did not win :( Trying again today here is my entry.

Regarding the skill points yes. It is written in the rules of Rising Star that players with more of the specific instrument will get higher skill points for each completed music lesson. Also I remember someone in discord mentioning higher XP boosters will gain more skill points for each music lesson completed.
