Tonights live acoustic cover is a song recommended by @edje ! He actually gave me a few talk talk songs to pick from but Such a Shame was top on the list and I now know why! It's really a great song and it was fun making it my own.

So when I was first recommended Talk Talk, I had never heard of them. After some exploring, i realized they performed and wrote a song I love, It's my Life. I was tempted to do that one, but wanted to stick with the challenge of learning a completely unfamiliar song.
I'm really glad I did. At first listen I didn't really comprehend the meaning of the lyrics. Then i watched the music video which really threw me off! haha, i enjoyed it though! goofy artsy fun.
It wasn't until I played it through a few times that it really started to sink in and then I really felt it. Now i love this song!
I messed up the lyrics a little but because of the condition of my hands I can only try so many takes before i have to quit. so this was the best and final performance

BUT i must have been pretty accurate cause the youtube algorithm caught it and put a copyright restriction on it as soon as i published haha
I also forget that some don't listen to lyrics! nothing wrong with that but I gotta remind myself that when I'm beating myself up over them when i'm writing a new song!

Absolutely, totally different, but great! Espcially since this song is not easy (actually, difficult) to get into something totally accoustic. Talk Talk is much about the electronics/synths as you've noticed.

Well, I notcied quite a few in the HIVE community who take a note of lyrics; I may be in the minority noit listening to lyrics at all.
Alternative to YT & Potentially better Rewarding
Since YT may not like too much re-interpretation of copyright songs, you may consder to use 3Speak to share your video through. That's really good to hear about 3speak! I am strongly for decentralization and when i returned to hive i have been slowly figuring out which dapps to use.
I noticed most people were using 3speak so i started using it too and they have been really good to me! I'm very happy with the platform and excited about whatever is happening in 2021.
Youtube has really gone downhill and even though i have killed my IG and FB, I'm still using YT (cause my music distribution releases to google). They left the video up, but it can't be monitized which is no big deal cause i don't have enough fans to monetize anyway!
So yes, i am very happy with 3speak and will keep posting there :D
Yea I understand why you like to contunue with YT. And in my view you approach this shole thing with 3Speak and YT the right way by including the YT link in your 3Speak posts! I wish, other would do the same.
