Who were the Bee Gees?
It was a group of British origin composed of the Barry Gibb brothers and the twins Robin and Maurice Gibb.
They are recognized worldwide for the incredible success they had throughout their career, having sold more than 220 million copies worldwide, including albums and singles.
In the 1950's the Bee Gees began to perform in public, in small concerts in their hometown and it was not until 1958 that the Gibb family would move to Australia, in this same year Andy Gibb, the youngest of the four, was born. After playing in various clubs, they signed their first contract with a record company in 1963 and in 1964 they recorded their first album, "The Bee Gees Sing and Play 14 Barry Gibb Songs", released in 1965.
Then they would move to Miami and contact the producer Arif Mardin, starting their American stage with the album "Mr. Natural", in 1974 and "Main Course", a year later.
Shortly after, they moved on to disco music, anticipating what would later be the fashion. They edit 'Children Of The World', obtaining the number one with the song 'You Should Be Dancing'.

Fue un grupo de origen británico compuesto por los hermanos Barry Gibb y los gemelos Robin y Maurice Gibb.
Son reconocidos a nivel mundial por el increíble éxito que tuvieron a lo largo de su carrera, habiendo vendido más de 220 millones de copias a nivel mundial, entre álbumes y sencillos.
En la década de los cincuenta los Bee Gees comienzan a actuar en público, en pequeños conciertos en su pueblo natal y no es hasta 1958 que la familia Gibb se mudaría a Australia, en este mismo año nacería Andy Gibb, el menor de los cuatro. Después de tocar en diversos clubs, firmarían en 1963 su primer contrato con una discográfica y en 1964 graban su primer álbum, "The Bee Gees Sing and Play 14 Barry Gibb Songs", estrenado en el año 1965.
Luego se mudarían a Miami y contactarían con el productor Arif Mardin, comienzando su etapa americana con el disco "Mr. Natural", en 1974 y "Main Course", un año después.
Poco después se pasan a la música disco, anticipándose a lo que luego sería la moda. Editan 'Children Of The World', consiguiendo el número uno con la canción 'You Should Be Dancing'.
