I really like dark synthwave in the vein of Carpenter Brut or Perturbator and the other day I discovered a great Russian band PSYBOLORD. At first it was a solo project of Moscow musician Anton Kartenov, but now drummer Anton Ze has joined it and the sounding became even more aggressive and maximum driving.
The band is not well-known on the world scene yet, but PSYBOLORD managed to warm up heavyweights Perturbator and Com Truise during their European tours and they have an impressive concept. The sound of PSYBOLORD is a nuclear mix of gloomy synthwave, whipping French techno and, suddenly, traditional Russian folk.
The idea is totally crazy, but it sounds so damn stylish and fresh.

I checked them out on Spotify so I could add some tracks to my playlists and they have less plays than me! Definitely under the radar!
