The cryptocurrency journey so far

Cryptocurrency recently have been buzzing and I must admit I am really grateful about that. The truth is that I won't use the word recently because this run started long again. What really pains me is that I was judging with the old mentality i.e the 2017 bull run that I saw that ended with so much pain. We all know the story and it won't be something we would love to talk about.

I remembered I was still new into cryptocurrency by then and I don't have much idea about trading. I just have to stick with my blogging and it was on Hive-steemit. One difference I noticed about the 2017 bull run is that there was no many community or cryptocurrency project compared to now. The list of coins in the market are so much and more are still coming up.

So while in 2017, I was just blogging and what motivated me to blog was that I said to myself that I am done with facebook, I can't be posting pictures and videos without getting reward for it. We are in this world to make money and anything not yielding me money, I am way out of it. So this led me into quitting facebook. Not like I turned my back on it forever, I still make use of it but not like the way it use to be. Th attention dropped from 99% to 10%, nothing there interests me unless my friends wants to have one or two chat with me. Well, the facebook memories were interesting.

I faced the blogging on hive-steemit, you have to see how I suffered. I can remember how cheetah was commenting on my post and I was thinking it is normal, not until I was educated about how things run i.e no plagiarism. Gradually I started blogging on what I know myself and it was really challenging. I managed to make sure I joined the gaming platform because I have love and passion for gaming. Immediately I joined things changed. I started getting upvotes and I was really happy when I saw about $10 worth of upvote on my one of my post that made me the first $. I was dancing and I pledge to commit myself to this blockchain for ever.

While I was doing all this, there is somebody who was dedicated to what I was doing, he always profil my post and show me errors I made. He did this willingly and up till date he keeps up with his support. It has been an amazing journey knowing him. I can remember hive-steemit was less than $1 when I joined but as I continue blogging, a day came and it shoots up to $10. You need to see how I jubilate because I saved some hive-steem aside. It was a friend of mine that put a call across to me that hive-steem has risen. I don't know how to check price because I was still new to the platform then. I immediately rush and sell off and the money I made, I immediately put into good use. Up till date I am happy about what I did with the money. I will spare time to talk about it when the time arises.

With my newbie sense, I was thinking that things will continue to be like this not until 2018 showed us tears. From 2018 till some period in 2020 we suffered and life was challenging. But I never let the hope died, I keep pushing up with the dream and 2021 came and we started smiling again. Now, we learnt a lot of lesson, and one of them is that what goes up will surely goes down but my wish is for hive-steem to never dropped below 1$.

People making money now should put it into good use, and while doing this you have to be careful. We can see alot of new project pulling rug on it users and some not staying up to their promises. We all wants to make quick money but make sure you stick to project that you know for sure won't rug on you, project with long term goals. Lastly, with the advice I gave above, don't in any way misuse your money, put it to good use so that when things are hard you will see something that will still be keeping you relevant. I know someone who is a rich business man today through the money he made from cryptocurrency, he is still into cryptocurrency, tell me if things went hard in cryptocurrency he will felt it? The answer is no because he has something (business) fetching him money.

Conclusion

2021 has proven to be a very good year so far, as for me, I will love to see this good run maintained for ever. But the truth is that what goes up must comes down, I just wish it won't happen yet, I have to put alot of things in place.

Because you are making big money from cryptocurrency right now doesn't mean things can't go south, make sure you invest in offline business that you will run to when cryptocurrency faces bear market.
