Great post. I think the problem with soft skills is that they're, well, soft. Everybody wants you to have them, but no one is going to give you a job based primarily on your soft skills, which is why there are so many people working who have bad soft skills. :(

The technical knowledge and mastery of any area, as well as having experience will always be important when hiring a staff. Soft skills come to complement the human being in relation to their work and work environment, rather than learning them, each one develops differently in each person, due to their experiences, personal relationships, learning, lifestyle, even the way of how are your dreams and aspirations. It is a subject, which I suggest to investigate. Thank you for your visit.
